Проблема возникает при установке КриптоПро в Windows 10. Полный текст ошибки звучит так:

Как видим из ошибки – необходимая библиотека присутствует, но не может быть запущена. Чаще всего данная ошибка возникает из за конфликта с другим криптопровайдером – VipNet CSP, который входит в состав популярного VipNet Client. Но не спешите хвататься за голову, нет нужды удалять наш VipNet CSP.

Вместо этого мы идем и вручную запускаем VipNet CSP, найдите его в меню пуск-vipnet-vipnet CSP.

После запуска во вкладке “Дополнительно” найдите чекбокс “Поддержка работы VipNet CSP через Microsoft CryptoAPI”. Снимите с него галку и подтвердите изменения. Систему потребуется отправить в перезагрузку, после чего КриптоПро без проблем установится на вашу Windows. Оба криптопровайдера жуть как друг друга не переносят. Если возникла необходимость держать их рядом, старайтесь устанавливать последние версии обоих этих продуктов.

Having problems installing sage 50 accounts 2013. it fails the install with the error message: error 1723. there is a problem with the windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run.
Things I have tried while troubleshooting:
1. the old windows installer cleaup utility
2. different profile (local admin account)
3. completly wiped and reloaded via OEM disks (windows 7 32bit)
4. different install directory
5. deleted all temp files
6. firewall disabled and AV software uninstalled
7. UAC disabled
8. sfs /scannow shows no errors
9. tried running the installer from desktop, cd rom and network share
these are all Lenovo g550’s running windows 7 32bit. I have successfully installed it on 4 other machines on the network.
My brain is fried trying to figure this problem out, any help at all would be appreciated!

Have tried MS Fixit and even called up MS and Sage support, they both blame each other for this issue. We had to go and buy new laptops to get it installed on, no solution presented itself.
I have just resolved this issue and thought you should know for similar future problems.
When consulting the Sage install log (%temp% directory) if the following error is seen at the top of the log:
Error 1723.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action Wdsfpca_CleanupFiles.C8C0673E_50E5_4AC4_817B_C0E4C4466990, entry: Wdsfpca_CleanupFiles, library: C:\windows\Installer\MSI173E.tmp
And the following error is found near the bottom, accompanied by the GUI screen shot:
Property(S): ISSCRIPT_ENGINE_VERSION = 11.50.0.42618
Property(S): ISSCRIPT_VERSION_MISSING = The InstallScript engine is missing from this machine. If available, please run ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance.
Property(S): ISSCRIPT_VERSION_OLD = The InstallScript engine on this machine is older than the version required to run this setup. If available, please install the latest version of ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance.
Then the problem is caused by the InstallScript engine missing. However, in our case this was specifically caused by IBM Lenovo’s Windows 7 factory build and a piece of software they installed called Power2Go by Cyberlink. They must have installed the software in a way that the InstallShield software was not installed and therefore when I tried to uninstall it I got errors. After looking in to this error I found I could download the up-to-date InstallShield compatible for use with Sage, it then installed perfectly.
The 1603 error shown on the screen shot I previously sent is actually referenced on their support website also:
I just downloaded the latest InstallShield Engine as that was the one referenced in your install logs and this did the trick:
I’m a little disappointed that Sage level 2 support didn’t look in to this further as the problem could have been resolved by Sage.
