Всем привет сегодня расскажу, как настроить RAID 10 на Adaptec 5805, да и в принципе как настроить другие. Загружаемся в утилитку и выбираем Array Configuration Utility. Для попадания в Array Configuration Utility (ACU) от вас потребуется нажать Ctrl+A во время загрузки RAID контроллера. Это встроенная тулза, на подобие Web Bios у LSI, все скромно, но более нам и не нужно.
Работа в Array Configuration Utility (ACU)
Выбираем пункт Array Configuration Utility, Утилита по созданию RAID томов, советую почитать виды raid массивов, для понимания того, что из чего строится и как работает, так как это база на основании которой строится все остальное.
Настраиваем RAID 10 на Adaptec 5805-01
Выбираем пункт меню Initialize Crives
Настраиваем RAID 10 на Adaptec 5805-03
Выбираем нужные диски которые нужно проинициализировать и Insert перетаскиваем в правую область и потом жмем Enter.

После инициализации дисков, выбираем в меню Create Array

Выбираем наши диски, напомню, что для RAID10 нужно четное количество. Insert перемещаем их вправо.

Собственно все. Вот так вот просто Настраиваем RAID 10 на Adaptec 5805. Далее можно уже производить установку операционной системы, например Windows Server 2008 R2 или Vmware ESXI 5.5.

Иван, здравствуйте. Возникла маленькая проблема — может сможете меня проконсультировать.
Есть 8 обычных SATA дисков с данными (коллекция фильмов – постоянно в раздаче на utorrent).
До сего момента они были подключены через два PCI контроллера St-Lab A-224.
Теперь установлен asr-5805 – необходимо его настроить на работу одиночных дисков без RAID – чтобы в уже установленной системе появились эти 8 дисков…
На данный момент попробовал подключить 4 диска – естественно система видит контроллер – но диски не видит.
Не нашел нигде инструкцию по подключению и настройке именно одиночных дисков… для создания RAID есть, а для одиночных нет…
Пробовали подключить их как jbod, у LSI это так называется у Adaptec вроде так же.
