Установка Adobe AIR в Fedora 20

Install 32-bit Adobe AIR for desktop Linux
Note: Beginning June 14 2011, Adobe AIR is no longer supported for desktop Linux distributions. Users can install and run AIR 2.6 and earlier applications but can’t install or update to AIR 2.7. The last version to support desktop Linux distributions is AIR 2.6. AIR 2.6 is available from the AIR Archive.
Why did Adobe decide to discontinue further support for Adobe AIR for desktop Linux®?
As the market shifts to mobile devices, Adobe is investing in bringing its runtime technologies to new hardware and operating systems. Adobe is increasingly investing in mobile authoring. The recent Creative Suite 5.5 release is focused on enabling customers to deliver their experiences across devices using Adobe’s technologies. Adobe has responded to the changing market trends by providing AIR support for a growing number of platforms. These platforms include Android, iOS and BlackBerry Tablet OS, televisions, and set-top boxes. Lifetime AIR for Linux desktop downloads represent less than 0.5% of total AIR desktop downloads, which number over 450 million. Therefore, Adobe has decided to change the distribution model for Linux and direct these resources toward its mobile efforts. Adobe’s efforts are focused on supporting operating systems that are most important to its customers, and that demonstrate the greatest opportunity for future growth for its partners and developers. Adobe continues to provide partners the opportunity to license source code through the Open Screen Project. You can download AIR 2.6, the last version to support Linux, at the archive build page.
Adobe no longer supports the full AIR developer SDK for desktop Linux implementations. And, the AIR Debug Launcher (ADL) is no longer supported in the SDK..
Description
64-bit binaries of AIR are not currently available. Running 32-bit AIR on 64-bit systems has not been fully tested. However, Adobe expects 32-bit AIR to run on these systems if they have the required 32-bit libraries and packages installed. The following instructions describe how to install AIR 1.5 on the 64-bit versions of Ubuntu 7.10, 8.0 and 9.04, Fedora 8 and 10, and openSUSE 11.
For all installations
For certain Adobe AIR applications, make sure that kwallet/keyring is enabled and running on your machine.
Download AIR 1.5 for Linux
Adobe AIR 1.5 for Linux is available here: http://get.adobe.com/air/.
Required 32-bit Packages/Libraries
- Packages — lib32asound2 lib32gcc1 lib32ncurses5 lib32stdc++6 lib32z1 libc6 libc6-i386
- Other libraries — libnss3.so.1d libnssutil3.so.1d libsmime3.so.1d libssl3.so.1d libnspr4.so.0d libplc4.so.0d libplds4.so.0d
The steps below specify the sources of these packages and libraries.
Install AIR 1.5 on 64-bit Fedora 8
No manual installation workarounds are required. By default, AIR works fine on the 64-bit version of Fedora 8.
Install AIR 1.5 on 64-bit Fedora 10
To install AIR 1.5 on Fedora 10, perform the following steps:
Install AIR 1.5 on 64-bit Ubuntu 7.10, 8.04, and 9.04
To install AIR 1.5 on Ubuntu 7.10, 8.0 and 9.04, manually install the 32-bit files by following these directions:
Install the 32-bit binary files using the getlibs utility, which is available here: http://frozenfox.freehostia.com/cappy/getlibs-all.deb. This utility helps you install 32-bit applications on 64-bit systems by downloading and installing the required libraries.
To use getlibs to install the AIR 1.5 libraries, enter the following commands on the terminal. This command installs the following packages: lib32asound2, lib32gcc1, lib32ncurses5, lib32stdc++6, lib32z1, libc6, and libc6-i386. These libraries are required for resolving common user reported keyring issues (tweetdeck showing blank screen or apps not connecting to the Internet, and so on).

Adobe no longer supports the full AIR developer SDK for desktop Linux implementations. And, the AIR Debug Launcher (ADL) is no longer supported in the SDK.

Adobe Air?
ADOBE AIR.
2. Как установить Air в Ubuntu?
Ubuntu Linux?
Gnome Keyring
deb maverick main

Re: Adobe Air 64 bit [Solved]

I found a fix for this. Two in fact. One. Open Firefox in administrator mode when you download Adobe Air, and that may fix it. But if that doesn’t, this (from another site) worked for me:
Now, for AIR: Using (GNOME’s) Nautilus file manager GUI, right-click on the Adobe BIN file and check under the Properties’ Permissions tab, to allow executing the file as a program. Next, right-click and Rename the file to remove its .bin extension, so the file name is just AdobeAIRInstaller. Finally, double-click the file to run the Adobe installer, which pops open a new window, requests your authorization (password), and prompts you through the install. That’s it.
You’ll then find AIR maintenance items in the Ubuntu “Accessories” menu (or in the “Tools” menu of Mandriva Linux 2009). The .air file extension is associated with Adobe’s run-time. An AIR application can be removed via the distro RPM or DEB package manager GUI, or by double-clicking its original .air installation file.

I personally did things a little differently for both my 64-bit Mint installs (Mint 11 ‘Katya’ and LMDE).
First, I downloaded the Adobe AIR deb file from here.
Then I followed instructions here on how to turn it into a deb file that will install on 64-bit (and 32-bit) systems. (The instructions are for Ubuntu 10.10 but they work fine in 11.04 and its derivatives as well, so don’t mind that.)
Before installing the application (the last step on the second page I linked to) I made sure to install ia32-libs from Synaptic Package Manager (though you could install it however you prefer, I just happen to prefer the graphical tools whenever possible), since they’re required in order to make 32-bit applications run on 64-bit systems.
After the 32-bit libraries are installed, you can install Adobe AIR using the converted deb you created.
Note that this only works this easily and nicely in Ubuntu and its derivatives. In LMDE (Debain-based) there are a few extra things you’d need to do to make Adobe AIR and its apps work as nicely as in the main, Ubuntu-based editions.
If you want to install AIR in 64-bit LMDE, you’ll also need to:
Install ia32-libs-gtk (it’s a separate package from ia32-libs in Debian, while it’s included in ia32-libs in Ubuntu),
Download the 32-bit versions of libgnome-keyring0 (here) and libasound-plugins (here),
Open those two deb files with a rooted Archive Manager (easiest way is to launch ‘gksu nautilus’ from the GNOME run dialog, then navigate to where you downloaded the files to, right-click them and select «Open with Archive Manager»),
Navigate to /usr/lib in each deb archive and extract the contents of that folder from the archive to /usr/lib32 on your system.
These extra steps will ensure that AIR applications perform (nearly) identically to how they perform in the Ubuntu-based Mint editions.
EDIT: I’ve turned this nice set of instructions into a how-to over here. Hopefully this will help a lot of people who might want to install Adobe AIR on 64-bit Mint editions.
