5. Восстановить системные файлы

As per the issue description you are facing lots of issue after upgrading to Windows 10. The issue could be if the upgrade was not done properly or some updates need to be updated.

As you are facing issue while using app then I would suggest you to run the troubleshooter and see if it helps you to fix the issue.

However, if you don’t like it you may try to use Internet Explorer. Here are the steps through which you can use Internet Explorer.

Press the Windows key.

Type Internet Explorer in the search box.

Right click on Internet Explorer (Desktop app).

Select Pint to task bar.

Try to use Internet Explorer from there and see if it brings any difference.

There might be a chance that there is some system file corruption. So, I would suggest you to run SFC scan and see if it brings any difference.

The sfc /scannow command (System File Check) scans the integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect, corrupted, changed, or damaged versions with the correct versions where possible.

If issue persists try to create new user profile as an administrator and see if issue persists in new user profile. For creating new user profile you may refer to the steps provided below.

Type control userpasswords2 and click OK

Click on add under users tab

Click the option, «Sign-in without a Microsoft account

Click on Local account

Choose a name for the account

Add password if you want to

Apply and click OK.

sfc scan — no integrity violations

Creating new user profile — Type control userpasswords2 and click OK — the run box disappears and nothing happens.

Windows 10 all modern apps stopped working, Start menu stopped working, Cortana taskbar box stopped working, Action center stopped working.

I have the same problem and some more. My desktop PC was running Windows 10 Pro for a month now, without problems. Today all modern apps, Start menu, Cortana taskbar and Action center stopped working. When I start Mail and Calculator, the splash window appears for a second and then disappears. I read many threads on this issue, tried various proposed remedies such as sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and the one in Powershell, but nothing seems to work. Sfc didn’t find any errors, DISM says «No compoment store corruption detected» and Powershell performed some 60-70 operations, one of them failing with red text and a «Write failed» message.

I read somewhere that Windows Update should sort this out, but I don’t know how to start the Windows Update UI. Executing wuauclt /scannow did not help.

Does anyone have any idea how to restore my Windows 10 to health?

UPDATE (Solved) — I opened the Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> Application and found lots of red circled X’s, with Source = Apps. Details on each of these events read like this: Activation of app Microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_blahblah failed with error: The app didn’t start. See the Microsot-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

I googled the error and found the following Knowledge Base article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2798317.

It suggested checking access permissions to the Registry and to the file system, esp. Program Files, Windows, and Users folders. I fixed the permissions to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT node in the Registry Editor and all the apps and the Start menu came back from the dead.

i have a computer with vista home premium and i have this problem

this «host process for windows services has stopped working» problem has been bugging me

the problem makes my pc’s theme half vista half classic windows and i really need some help to fix this

i also have this other problem. everytime i open internet explorer (i have internet explorer 8) it gives me a message that it stopped working. when i close internet explorer this box pops up that says «data execution prevention» i need help to fix that too

First thing to try is a System Restore to before the problem:

Do System Restore in Safe Mode, if unable to do it in Normal Mode.

Try tapping F8 at startup, and from the list of startup selections, select Safe Mode by using UP Arrow Key to go there > then hit Enter.

Try a System Restore once there, to pick a Restore Point before your problem..

Click Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > pick a different time > Next > etc

If the above does not fix the problem, follow these steps to improve performance and resolve the issue:

Go to your Laptop/Computer Manufacturer’s website > Drivers and Downloads Section > Key in your Model number > Look for latest Vista Drivers for it > Download/install them.

Besides using an anti-virus, also scan for Malware/spyware:

How to use Malwarebytes after it is installed and Updated:

1. Open Malwarebytes > Click on the Update Tab across the top> get the latest updates.

2. On the Scanner tab, make sure the Perform full scan option is selected and then click on the Scan button to start scanning your computer

3. MBAM will now start scanning your computer for malware. This process can take quite a while.

4. When the scan is finished a message box will appear

5. You should click on the OK button to close the message box and continue with the Malwareremoval process.

6 . You will now be back at the main Scanner screen. At this point you should click on the Show Results button.

7. A screen displaying all the malware that the program found will be shown

8. You should now click on the Remove Selected button to remove all the listed malware. MBAM will now delete all of the files and registry keys and add them to the programs quarantine. When removing the files, MBAM may require a reboot in order to remove some of them. If it displays a message stating that it needs to reboot, please allow it to do so. Once your computer has rebooted, and you are logged in, please continue with the rest of the steps.

9. When MBAM has finished removing the malware, it will open the scan log and display it in Notepad. Review the log as desired, and then close the Notepad window.

10. You can now exit the MBAM program.

Run the Vista System File Checker Tool:

1. Open a Command Window in Administrator mode:

* click Start
* click All Programs , then Accessories
* right click on the Command Prompt option,
* on the drop down menu which appears, click on the Run as Administrator option.

* If you haven’t disabled User Account Control (and you shouldn’t!) you will be asked for authorisation. Click the Continue button if you are the administrator or insert the administrator password.

2. Start the System File Checker

* In the Command Prompt window, type: sfc /scannow ,
* press Enter.
* You’ll see “the system scan will begin”.

The scan may take some time and windows will repair/replace any corrupt or missing files. You will be asked to insert your Vista DVD if it’s needed.

Close the Command Prompt Window when the job is finished.

One caveat: you need a Windows DVD to enable SFC to make more than minor repairs.

If SFC finds serious errors it can not fix, you may have to do a Vista Repair Upgrade Install.

If you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, borrow one from a friend.
