How to Install Windows with Aluminum Siding

Now a frame needs to be made out of lumber, this is a rough frame which needs to be nailed together according to the specifications of the manufacturer. This should be put into the opening and then you need to use a spirit level to check that it’s level. If it’s not level then you will need to use ships to level it. Secure the rough frame by nailing it into the walls.
Step 5 — Window Flashing
Now place the window flashing onto all of the sides of the opening and fix this using nails. Now you are ready to position the window into the opening, use your spirit level again and use more wood shims to check that everything is level. Nail the window frame to the wooden frame to secure it.
Step 6 — Insulation
The window frame then needs to be insulated by using spray foam which can be sprayed into all of the holes. Fiberglass insulation can also be used on any larger patches.
Step 7 — Cutting Siding
Now all that’s left to do is cut all of the pieces of siding using a circular saw. Ensure that these are cut in the right place for the best results. Now you just need to fill any gaps using caulking and you’re finished.
