Если для запуска Windows на компьютере Mac используется программа Boot Camp, последнюю версию драйверов AMD для Windows можно загрузить с веб-сайта AMD. Графические процессоры AMD используются в следующих моделях компьютеров Mac:

1. Запустите компьютер Mac в ОС Windows.

How to install latest AMD Driver on Macbook Pro 2011

I just wanted to share a few tips to those trying to install the latest AMD drivers (Catalyst 15.7) on their Macbook Pros with Radeon 6xxx graphics cards.

Currently AMD seems to be filtering the Macbook Pros hardware IDs in their default installers but it doesn’t stop you from getting the latest driver, in fact its still pretty easy.

I have the late 2011 Macbook Pro with the Radeon HD 6770m with Windows 10. and this is the only model I tested but I believe it will work on the 6750m on Windows 7 and 8 as well.

Next run the installer with default settings.

Because AMD is a bunch of ******** You will eventually be given this error:
«We are unable to find a driver for your system. No supported AMD hardware detected.» the AKA screw you bootcamp users prompt.

No worries, lets bypass the installer and install the driver manually!

Unfortunately, because we didn’t pass the AMD installer hardware detection the, drivers are still compressed.

To decompress them open command prompt.
change directory to where the main display drivers are extracted.

In this case I ran:

Once you are in the WT6A_INF folder run the command:

This will loop through all the files in that directory and decompress the drivers so they can be installed.

Next open Device manager

Under display adapters right click on on your Radeon card and choose update driver.

Choose «Browse my computer for driver software»
Then select «Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer»
Click the «Have Disk. » button
Click «Browse. » button
Then browse to «C:\AMD\AMD-Catalyst-15.7.1-Win10-64bit\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF\»
There should be a single file named «C0187451.inf» highlight it and click open.

Your driver should then update to the latest one from AMD!

It greatly helps with performance, especially running Windows 10!

I’m having a bit of an issue and was wondering if you could help.

Windows 10 was working well until I hibernated my Macbook Pro early 2011 and woke it up. Now the screen constantly refreshes. I was able to disable the AMD drivers and it stopped, then I installed the drivers like you said and it worked, but after I restarted, the problem persisted.

Have you heard of this issue before and do you have any idea how to fix it? Otherwise I think I’ll have to wipe and reinstall everything.

I have a feeling the old microsoft driver is reinstalling causing your screen to flicker

The latest AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver version is 15.20.1062.1002 (15.7)

You can find out what version you are running in device manager properties for your Radeon card, under the driver tab. It should list it under Driver Version.

If it isn’t the correct one, I bet that it!

Are you on Windows 10 final? or one of the tech previews?

I’m on the final. I am able to use Windows if I first disable the AMD driver before the reloading starts and then enable it again manually. I run into problems after I restart and allow things to run normally.

Also, my driver version is 15.20.1062.1003. did they release an update recently? Maybe that’s the culprit. But Windows is running fine now with that version after I disabled and then re-enabled it.

Each time I install the drive it installs that version. I have the AMD Radeon 6750M in my Macbook Pro.

When you say its reloading, do you mean the graphics card is reinstalling?

The entire screen goes dark and then turns back on, all the icons load back up and the trey icons as well. This repeats over and over again. It’s basically what the desktop does when you log in for the first time after booting except it just continues over and over and over. I found this problem online with Windows 8, but it seemed to be tied to Norton Security, which I don’t have installed. iCloud MAY have caused my problem, since it started after iCloud complained of not having permission to access a photos folder. I disabled iCloud photos, but I haven’t restarted yet to see if that was the culprit.

Like I said, disabling the AMD driver early before it starts and then re-enabling it fixes the issue. As a safety precaution, I did turn off automatic updating and re-installed the driver once again. The problem happens whether I boot into bootcamp or in VMWare.

I really don’t want to re-install the entire partition again, so I guess I can just manually disable and enable the driver until it fixes itself or Apple releases a boot camp update for Windows 10, if they plan to do it.

Graphics problem under Mohave (Radeon HD6670)

I just updated my 2nd Hackintosh (with an ATI Radeon HD 6670) to Mojave. Everything went successfully, unfortunately the graphics card is no longer recognized by the system (‘Display 7MB’), the image is distorted (wrong resolution) and the display jerky when moving windows.

How can i fix that? Thanks!

macOS Mojave requires a graphics card that supports Metal, an Apple technology that lets the system and apps efficiently tap into the capabilities of today’s graphics processors (GPUs).
