XenDesktop Как синхронизировать язык ввода между Mac и Windows?

Приветствую!
Есть рабочее место с Mac OS 10.13.xx. Есть удаленное рабочее место с Windows 7. Подключение осуществляется через citrix receiver for mac (v 12.9.0 52). Со стороны Windows версия xen desktop (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix) показывает 5.0.

И есть беда, которая безумно бесит:
И на маке и на винде установлены 2 языка ввода с клавиатуры: русский и английский. И разные комбинации активного языка со стороны мака и винды дают разные эффекты:

MAC: EN, WIN: EN -> Язык ввода на Win английский. Всё хорошо. Горячие клавиши (cmd+A, cmd+c, etc) работают, буквы/цифры вбиваются нормально. Раскладка клавиатуры (. , % ^) на своих местах (как нарисовано на клаве мака)

MAC: RU, WIN: EN -> Язык ввода на Win русский. Горячие клавиши не работают, причем не работают и через cmd и через ctrl. Раскладка клавиатуры сбивается (становится не mac)

MAC: EN, WIN: RU -> Язык ввода на Win русский. Горячие клавиши работают. Раскладка клавиатуры сбивается (становится не mac).

MAC: RU, WIN: RU -> Язык вводна на Win русский. Горячие клавиши не работают. Раскладка клавиатуры корректная (mac).

В итоге, нормально можно работать только с английским языком и с русским в комбинации MAC: EN, WIN: RU, но без нормальной раскладки.
При таком подходе в Win приходится пользоваться системным hotkey переключения языка, что сбивает.

В идеале хочется работать так же, как при запуске VDI из Windows: язык ввода синхронизируется и на стороне хоста и на стороне виртуалки.

Кто-то смог вылечить проблему? Второй день гуглю, ничего не помогает.

Congrats on being my first review ever on the app store!

This product does not properly handle DNS resolution. It tampers with it. SRV lookups don’t work, CNAME lookups are changed to A records. DNS responses come from incorrect addresses, etc. Stay away and get a product that actually works. F5 / Palo Alto / Cisco / Fortinet / Pulse Secure / OpenVPN / ANYTHING ELSE. This product is not worth the headache.

Update: the latest update (1.2.0) fixes the dns resolution issues, but simulatenously breaks all tcp connections so it is now completely unusable. Does Citrix test this client at all? It seems the answer is no.

Update: This app is so full of bugs, that at this point they don’t even detail what they fix in each release outside of ‘bug fixes’. We’ve given up on this vpn product and have moved on.

Causing Major Issues. Prompts to Upgrade when you’re using a different Citrix Program

I received prompts to update my “Citrix”…come to find out it was for the SSO and Workspace. and I do not even have this app installed. I currently use the Citrix Receiver and for a totally different purpose than the reviews below. It is a necessary and crucial part of my work day.

This “Update” caused major issues on my Mac…and after uninstalling it and then reinstalling my Citrix Receiver…it is now preventing me from printing from within my Citrix Receiver program. Would love to know how to block this notification so I do not receive it again, nor make this mistake again….and to prevent others from making a similar error.

Lastly, even with it uninstalled now… I am currently still receiving the same prompts to Update multiple times a day. The only choices are to click “Remind me later” or “Install”…. there is no “Ignore» or “Do Not Remind Me Again” or “Stop the Madness” options. So, I click on the red X to remove it from my screen and it continues to come back over and over.

Upgrade does not work in MAC environment

Latest upgrade for MAC IOS and Citrix are not compatiable. I work in healthcare and we use Citrix to work remotely. Have never had an issue in 6 years until now. I am no longer able to work remoitely using Citrix on my MAC laptop and MAC desktop. Heard other doctors report they regret upgrading because we lost our ability to connect. Being asked to launch download files that open up random notes application. Our IT department said they cannot do anything about this because latest MAC and CITRIX are no longer compatiable. UGH.

Всегда найдутся те, кому стандартных функций будет мало. В случае с iOS применим Jailbrake. C OS X дело обстоит проще. Здесь разработчикам дана полная свобода и можно со всех сторон напичкать систему всевозможными утилитами и дополнениями.
По прошествии нескольких лет работы на Mac у меня образовался набор программ, без которых я уже не представляю комфортной работы. На мой взгляд это одни из лучших утилит, которые сейчас можно найти в Mac AppStore и на просторах сети. Итак, вот они:

PopClip
Вспомните процесс копирования и вставки текста в iOS. Вы выделяете его и появляется всплывающее меню с функциями «Копировать / Вставить / Вырезать». PopClip переносит этот функционал в настольную ОС. Все, что вам нужно — это выделить текст при помощи мыши. Далее появится уже знакомое меню.

Функционал PopClip огромен. Помимо стандартных функций «Копировать / Вставить» приложение может искать выделенный вами текст в Google, может отправлять его в ваш блокнот в Evernote или Day One, отправлять твиты, статусы в facebook и еще десятки различных действий, для которых можно скачать отдельные расширения на сайте разработчика.
Приложение настолько удобно, что после нескольких дней использования трудно представить себе работу без него.

LinguaLeo
Если вы любите получать информацию на англоязычных сайтах, то нет приложения для перевода лучше, чем LinguaLeo. При этом вам не придется открывать ни сайт сервиса, ни любой другой переводчик. Все, что нужно, это иметь аккаунт в LinguaLeo и загрузить расширение для своего браузера на специальной странице.

Для перевода сделайте двойной шелчек по нужному слову. Результат появится во всплывающем окне.

TranslateTab

DragonDrop
Бывало такое, что вам нужно перенести файл из одной папки в другую либо же отправить в Skype, а места на экране для открытия обоих окон попросту нет. Такое неудобство зачастую возникает на ноутбуках с диагональю экрана 11″ и 13″.
DragonDrop решает эту проблему, создавая промежуточный буфер обмера, находящийся поверх всех окон. Вы помещаете в него файл, переключаетесь в нужное приложение и «перетаскиваете» файл из буфера.

Такой способ работает и с папками, и с несколькими файлами, и даже позволяет сохранять изображения с веб-сайтов.

PuntoSwitcher
Многим эта утилита знакома. Многие ее не любят и критикуют, и все же она единственная в свое роде и предоставляет действительно полезный функционал. По началу PuntoSwitcher может менять раскладку не на тех словах, что нужно или не менять вообще. Проблема решается путем занесения слова в словарь. Для принудительного перевода или его отмены можно воспользоваться клавишей option. Можно перевести весь текст, выделив его и, также, нажав option.

CalcBar
Стандартные калькуляторы в OS X не всегда удобны. Тот, что в Dashbord, не поддерживает скобки, тот, что в стандартном наборе приложений, для многих может показаться громоздким. Если вам нужно сделать пару небольших вычислений, то эта утилита несомненно для вас.

Существует немало аналогов, имеющих более расширенный функционал. Однако, CalcBar имеет два преимущества: приложение распространяется бесплатно и имеет понятный не загроможденный интерфейс.

BetterSnapTool
В ОС MS Windows есть хорошая стандартная функция, позволяющая делить экран на несколько равных частей и задавать четкое положение окнам на экране. Возможно, в будущем такой функционал появится и в OS X, а пока можно воспользоваться возможностями BetterSnapTool.
