Приложение позволяет подключить смартфон или планшет от ASUS к компьютеру для синхронизации данных. Есть возможность скопировать телефонную книгу и календарь.

ASUS Sync – приложение для Windows, позволяющее владельцам мобильных устройств от тайваньского производителя перенести данные на компьютер или ноутбук. С помощью утилиты пользователи могут создать резервную копию календаря и списка контактов. Поддерживаются смартфоны Zenfone и планшеты серии Eee Pad, а также некоторые другие устройства от ASUS.

Подключение

Для использования программы необходимо подключить смартфон или планшет к компьютеру по USB. Функция соединения по беспроводной сети не поддерживается. Далее следует запустить приложение. Утилита автоматически распознаёт устройство и предлагает выбрать данные для резервного копирования. При необходимости будет выполнена загрузка и установка драйверов, требующихся для корректной работы программы.

Перенос информации

Стоит отметить, что в отличие от Samsung Smart Switch, данное приложение не позволяет скопировать фотографии, музыку, видеозаписи и документы. Пользователи могут перенести на компьютер только телефонную книгу и календарь.

Для создания резервной копии необходимо отметить галочками нужные файлы и запустить копирование. В процессе передачи данных не следует отключать мобильное устройство от компьютера. После завершения синхронизации на экране появится соответствующее уведомление.

ASUS Sync is an official program that allows you to synchronize data between a PC and portable devices ASUS. It automatically backs up your phone book and calendar when you connect your smartphone or tablet, allowing you to save important data in the event of a device failure or loss. Synchronization can only be performed when the device is connected to a computer via USB cable. The program works with Eee PAD series tablets, as well as with some Zenfone series smartphones. The list of officially supported devices is not provided by the manufacturer, so you can check compatibility only by experimental method. If after starting the program and connecting the device to the computer it was successfully recognized in ASUS Sync, you can safely start backing up. It is important that you don’t have to spend money on experiments — the program is absolutely free.

ASUS Sync’s official compatibility is for Windows 7 only. On earlier versions of the operating system it simply will not start and on later versions it will experience problems with stability of work. I would also like to be able to synchronize not only the calendar and the phone book, but also other data, which, unfortunately, the program is not able to do. On the other hand, the concept of the step-by-step wizard used by the developers makes working with ASUS Sync extremely easy and convenient.

К сожалению, производители не позаботились о составлении подробного списка мобильных устройств, подходящих для работы с программой. Единственное, что ясно – она ориентирована на телефоны ASUS, а также дополнительно работает с планшетами серии Eee PAD и некоторыми смартфонами линейки Zenfone. Так что, Вам придется самостоятельно проверять совместимость. Скачайте программу и попробуйте ее подключить – тогда и узнаете, работает ли она с моделью Вашего телефона или нет. К слову, для синхронизации портативного гаджета с компьютером доступно лишь проводное подключение. Использовать утилиту с помощью Wi-Fi не получится — для этого придется воспользоваться стандартным подключением девайса посредством USB-кабеля.

Относительно самого функционала ASUS Sync – он тоже не сильно радует. Возможно, Вам и хватит базовых возможностей его инструментария, но вот пользователи, которым необходимо создать резервную копию данных не только телефонной книги и календаря, будут разочарованы. Но, ввиду такого минималистичного интерфейса, а также благодаря пошаговому мастеру работы, пользоваться данным софтом достаточно легко.

Программа распространяется в бесплатном формате и подходит для загрузки на стационарные компьютеры, а также ноутбуки с операционной системой Windows. Имейте ввиду, что воспользоваться ASUS Sync Вы сможете лишь в том случае, если на вашем ПК установлена Windows 7. На всех предыдущих версиях ОС от Microsoft утилита не будет даже запускаться, а на операционных системах, выпущенных после семерки, программа будет настолько нестабильно себя вести, что с ней станет просто невозможно работать.
