There are no approved apps created by community. If app complies with the game ToS, does one server action per button press and doesn’t interact with the game client itself (injecting into the process, changing the process memory aka cheats) it can be considered safe.

If you get banned, the first action is to Contact Support

You can disable “Mousewheel Zoom” in PoE settings (Options -> UI -> 3-rd check mark starting from the bottom)

No plans to support other languages. Why is there Russian language? Because: 1 — this is the native language of developer; 2 — helps to create cleaner abstractions in code and test it; 3 — has the most active community, at least according to the numbers I can measure.

I can’t price check items in Divination Card stash tab.
I can’t price check rewards in Curio Display room (Heist Blueprints).

Yes, you can’t. The game doesn’t copy anything to clipboard when pressing Ctrl + C in these places. And as mentioned in the Quick Start, the whole thing how app works based on text of item in clipboard.

Regarding Divination Card stash tab, you can use another 3rd-party apps that price check your stash tabs (e.g. Exilence Next)

What does the orange/red circle (next to the item’s listed time) mean?

It shows player’s status: AFK/Offline respectively.

Awakened POE Trade for Mac! Unofficial release

I’m not sure if you are aware, but the app stops working randomly and requires frequent restarts.

I have not been able to work out why this happens or what triggers it yet

Weird — I’ve played probably 30 hours this league and haven’t really run into this issue, but I can see it happening when the window stops having focus.

Hmm, unfortunately this is pretty hard to debug. One suggestion if you feel like going to the trouble is to run it in your terminal:

Then, when it stops responding, paste the entire output of your Terminal window in here. That should help me debug it!

Also, let me know if you play with it in full-screen mode. I haven’t tested that as thoroughly, so that could be part of the cause.

Your build worked for me.
Though I could only get the «open without auto-hide» to work and not the «auto-hide mode» and even for that I had trouble finding a key binding that worked.

I recently tried to build a current version myself:

However everything I bind to «open without auto-hide» now just sends the key «c» (which opens the character tab ingame).
E.g. I tried to bind shift+space because that always worked for the overlay (which I bound to something else) but it also just sends the «c».
Maybe some copy (ctrl/cmd+c) action that’s broken?

Hi! I haven’t been able to reproduce any of the issues and the app is still working fine for me. If you want to hack on it, feel free to use the branch in this pull request: Added MacOS support #403.

Issues with window focus may also be caused by the change to electron-overlay-window

I had a question if you have time. So, brand new to coding, I think I have finally figured out how to make edits off of your branch and publish my fork of it. How are you creating your .dmg for your release? or is there a way to patch my changes without having to install my own version of the client?

I’m currently experiencing issues using any @last chat commands. So that’s why i’ve been messing around with it. Thanks a bunch for your work to port to macos. I’ve been using it a bunch

For building it, I just refer to the package.json file. I use the yarn package manager, so the commands are:

If you run npm, it’s the same, but `npm run MY_COMMAND`

Awakened PoE Trade consists of 2 important parts

UI, easy to develop, does not cause a headache for the developer (me).
Communication with OS, literally nightmare, also keep in mind that APT supports Windows(7,10) and Linux(zoo): shortcuts, mouse movement (auto-hide mode), clipboard, keyboard press simulation, monitoring that PoE window is active, show the price-check window itself, «fighting» against 3rd party add-ons that do «bad things» and be friendly with them at the same time while sharing one PoE window.

Current 1.x.x version shows «always on top» price-check window only when you press hotkey.
Not only players demand more features, but I also have some interesting ideas, unfortunately they are not «compatible» with how the program works now. After a little research, I came to the conclusion that it would be necessary to (option 1) switch to Overwolf, which for me is highly undesirable, or (option 2) to tinker with C code and OS APIs. Obviously, the 2nd option was chosen.

After 3 weeks of development and testing I got a pretty robust solution. This is a major change. Due to the unpredictability of both the OS itself and the user environment I invite you to beta test.

What are we testing? How to test?

APT is friendly to other windows and 3rd party tools, so run all the tools you usually use
APT has the red test-border that must exactly match PoE sizes
- move PoE window;
- resize PoE window;
- switch between «windowed fullscreen», and «windowed» mode;
- change «Display» (if have 2 monitors);
- open two PoE clients and resize them so that they are not the same size, when switching between them, the overlay should automatically move and resize.
APT shows «Game window is not active» in bottom-right corner (when PoE window is not focused)
- Alt+Tab;
- click on the Desktop and again on the game;
- go to windowed fullscreen and toggle Windows Start menu;
APT shows as transparent window
- quit APT & PoE. Open PoE, open APT and click on PoE window
- quit APT & PoE. Now in reverse order. First launch APT, and wait till tray icon is shown, then start PoE client
APT correctly focuses and defocuses
- press Shift+Space to activate overlay, press Esc to bring focus back to the game
- do a price check in auto-hide mode, move mouse slowly (holding Ctrl) to the window, it must become active
- do a price check in auto-hide mode, move mouse very-very quickly (holding Ctrl) to the opposite side of the screen, price-check window must close
- do a price check in locked mode

There is also some edge-cases, however, it will not be easy to understand and explain them; the above list is enough.

Bonus: press Shift+Space to activate overlay and interact with beta preview of new widget system.

How to use Awakened POE Trade for Path of Exile

Awakened POE Trade is one of the most useful tools you could possibly have, it allows you to easily price check items with the push of a button, as well as offering a multitude of different options to enjoy a smoother Path of Exile experience.

In the following guide, I will cover all the various options for the complete Awakened POE Trade experience, excluding the delve grid and stash tab scrolling as they aren’t useful.

Hotkey Functions & Settings

Once downloaded, open up Path of Exile and launch Awakened POE Trade, open up the settings by right-clicking the small icon on your taskbar and selecting settings.

Once the settings are open you should have a window appear that looks like this:

The “Hotkeys” window is where we can assign the hotkeys to specific commands within Awakened POE Trade, such as the price checker, you’ll see we have two options for Price Check, Auto-hide Mode & Open Without Auto-hide Mode.

Price Check Mode

The price checker is used to quickly see the current market values of the item you are searching for, it is the most used feature of Awakened POE Trade. To use it, simply hover over the item you want to check and press your designated hotkey to bring up the price checker, it will look like this:

You can then select and de-select the stat modifiers to individually search for items with similar stats, as you can see below I’ve chosen to search for a Watcher’s Eye Prismatic Jewel that provides the modifier “% of damage taken from life before mana while affected by clarity, which significantly changes the prices displayed:

Overlay

The overlay has multiple features to help you in-game, press your designated hotkey to bring up the overlay, it will look similar to this:

By clicking on the ellipses you will be given three options, stopwatch, stash search & image strip, since stash tab affinities were added the stash search is redundant so I will not be covering it in this guide.

Stopwatch

The stopwatch feature brings up a small stopwatch that overlays on your game, you can use this to time how long it takes you to complete a specific task such as a boss fight or an act run.

You can move, delete, start, stop and refresh the stopwatch when the overlay is open – when the overlay is closed you cannot alter the watch.

Image Strip

The image strip is an in-game Syndicate cheat sheet, this is extremely useful if you are unsure of the rewards you can receive from the betrayal safe-houses.

Open Item on Wiki

The open item on wiki feature allows us to, well, open the item on the wiki. This tool is extremely useful if you are unsure on how an item specifically works, for example, Doryani’s Fist grants us Doryani’s Touch skill, however, we do not know the tags that this skill has, by bringing the item up on the wiki we can very quickly find the information we are looking for.

Map Check

The map check setting allows us to double-check maps for dangerous modifiers quickly and easily – there are 5 specific settings for the map check that you can edit under the “Maps” section in the Awakened POE Trade settings.

There are 5 different modifiers with 3 different settings, amber, red and green, you can alter these settings to warn you whether or not the map is safe for your character quickly.

To use the feature, simply roll the map and then press the Map Check hotkey buttons, it will bring up a screen with a preview of the map & the modifiers.

As you can see, the map has the modifier “Monsters Reflect 18% of Elemental Damage”, the Map Checker has highlighted it as dangerous so you know to re-roll it, this tool is especially useful for Hardcore players.

Open Base Item on Craft of Exile

Opening an item on Craft of Exile, allows you to quickly check the item level requirements for specific item modifiers as well as emulate crafts.

Chat Settings

Awakened POE Trade features a quick reply section which allows us to very quickly respond to trades, invite people, log out & other useful features.

As you can see from the above image, we have a multitude of preset commands and an option to add a command. Simply type in the command you want to be set, bind it to a corresponding hotkey and you’re good to go! Once you press the hotkeys you have set, the commands will automatically be sent in-game.
