Baldur’s Gate (Юалдурс Гейт) – продолжение уникального игрового проекта, которая была выпущена еще в далеком 1998 году и уже тогда сумела собрать толпы поклонников. На этот раз нас познакомят с более обновленной версией игры, где ты попадешь в ряд динамично развивающихся событий, каждое из которых заставит тебя ощутить себя в реальном мире. Тебя ждут значительные обновления в графике, хорошо проработанный игровой процесс, увлекательный и местами завораживающий сюжет, а также сценарий, который основан на фантастической книжной патологии. В первой части мы узнали историю трех богов, которые были стёрты с лица планеты всего лишь каким-то смертным. Бог зла предусмотрел возможность возрождения и отправил капли крови на землю одному младенцу. Эти младенцы выросли, а ты будешь играть за одного из них. Изначально тебе необходимо выживать и убивать сторонников зла. Но пройдет немного времени, и ты сам сможешь уничтожать потомков темного бога, чтобы самому взойти на пьедестал богов.

Baldur gate windows 10

I’ve been having trouble getting the game to run with Windows 10, going to try and reinstall it though. Hopefully that will help me.

Update: Still no go. Will not even start up. I’m at a loss.

UPDATE 2: Okay I found out the problem. I was missing the OpenAL32.dll file. SOOO if anyone has that problem they can just use this as a guide to install that file:

Can`t Start the Game, «OpenAL32.dll» missing (FIX)
Ok Guys I have seen that some people have a problem, that they cant start the game and nothing happens. You are missing the «OpenAL32.dll» Data in the main folder. You can fix this problem by this steps:
1. Go to the Steam folder where your installed games are (Steam/SteamApps/common/Battle of Empires) — (Use Baldur’s Gate instead of Battle of Empires)
2. The the game folder should include another folder called _CommonRedist. Double click that.
3. In that folder you find the OpenAL folder double click that aswell.
4. In that you find the 2.0.7.0 folder. Go in there.
5. Now you find the oalinst.exe
7. Double click that Data and it automatically installs the missing .dll file that you need.
8. You should be able to play the game now :3

Please comment if that fixed your problem.

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition

I wonder if this games will work on Win 10 Pro 64bit (freshly installed 2 weeks ago)?

I’ve just bought BG:EE and while the game works fine, Windows starts to lag when I exit the game.

Everything gets super slow and unresponsive.

My config (Lenovo ThinkPad T440p laptop):
— Windows 10 Pro 64 bit (with all the latest updates)
— Intel Core i5-4200 — 16 GB RAM
— Intel HD 4600 & NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M GPU — 2x 500 GB SSD

Does anyone have a clue why the lag? I’d appreciate your help.

You have two onboard GPUs?

Can you try to disable one or the other and see if that makes a difference?

If that doesn’t resolve, disable one or the other in combination with going to BGEE in-game Game Options -> Graphics -> Alternate Renderer and toggle the setting from whatever it was to the opposite.

I would start with disabling the Intel GPU, because it’s not really getting much support anyways from BGEE, rightfully so, it’s not meant for gaming.

That is, of course, if the graphics are the issue here. It still might be something completely different.

Addition: Lenovo has its own drivers for your laptop. Have you tried those? They would be tailored to your specific laptop contrary to the generic GPU drivers found on the brand sites and might solve the issue as well (including other drivers, audio for instance),
