ОПИСАНИЕ ОБНОВЛЕНИЕ И УСТАНОВКА

По словам Toontrack, EZbass – не очередная библиотека сэмплов баса, а нечто большее и удобное. Инструмент обещает тот же уровень удобства и гибкости работы, а также качественного звука и реализма, присущий всей линейке EZline. Как и другие библиотеки в серии, виртуальный басист совмещает работу с MIDI с продвинутыми навыками написания басовых партий в различных стилях музыки.

В библиотеку входят два инструмента — современный и винтажный бас. Конкретных моделей гитар разработчики не называют, утверждая, что звучание библиотеки больше полагается на физическое моделирование сигнала, а не сэмплы. Так или иначе винтажная модель намекает на звучание Fender Precision Bass, а современная – на басы Schecter. Оба виртуальных баса – пятиструнные.

Библиотека поддерживает различные артикуляции, среди которых легато, вибрато, слайды, хаммеры и пулы, флажолеты и другие приёмы звукоизвлечения. В EZbass встроена секция эффектов, состоящая из эмуляций басовых усилителей и кабинетов, а также педалей эффектов и рэковых обработок.

Также существует обширная библиотека грувов. Все MIDI-партии записаны с высочайшим вниманием к нюансам исполнения. Грувы разделены по стилям, при этом движок библиотеки адаптирует грувы под тональность проекта. Библиотека примеров большая, но зная политику Toontrack, можно ожидать активной бомбардировки дополнениями с MIDI-грувами и новыми бас-гитарами в ближайшее время.

Here are a few tips when using Monster Bass:

• Try to change Filter Mode and tweak the Cutoff Frequency to find your desired tone!
• Set the Voice Mode to Monophonic or Legato Mode and set the Glide knob and play some legato notes (might not work on some of the preset).
• Try to route a source (Mod Wheel or Velocity) to Pitch destination, or pan and tweak the LFO’s Rate and Depth.
• If you find your favorit tone, use ‘Save As Preset’ command on your DAW software to make it permanent so you can recall it on another project.

HOW TO INSTALL

Right now, there is no installer/setup file so users have to do it manually :

• VST on Windows or Mac: Cubase, Nuendo, Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, FL Studio, Studio One, Reaper, Cakewalk, Mixcraft, Reason, Tracktion, etc (Don’t forget to check if your DAW is 32 bit or 64 bit too).
• Audio Unit (AU) on Mac: Logic Pro, GarageBand, Studio One, Ableton Live, Reaper, Digital Performer, etc.
• RTAS or AAX: Please use VST to AAX converter like Blue Cat’s PatchWork.

Unzip the download file from step 1 and put it on your virtual instrument folder:
