Broadcom BCM43XX Driver Win7/8/10

If you are looking for the Broadcom BCM 43XX drivers then you will find them below. There is a Windows Vista version of the drivers as well as a Windows 7/8/8.1 and another separate file for the Windows 10 drivers for the BCM43XX.

Note that you will need to download the driver, the one which covers your operating system and from there you will need to and install the driver from the file. I have a old Pavilion DV6 3240Br and just upgraded to windows 10. Unfortunately, I can’t find a driver for my system. HP says it won’t develop drivers especifically for my device. It uses a broadcom 4313gn 802.11b/g/n wireless card. There is a driver (maybe from another notebook model) that works with this broadcom adapter in windows 10 x64 ?

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the last driver Broadcom released for that model wlan card for W8.

it did not work for me..

I have a HP G42-465LA and Y I had windows 7 and I update to 10 and now it doesn’t recognize the wifi

I thied whit that driver but It says error ‘Update.cpp 1205’
HELP pls..

With Windows 7 / Server 2008, digital signatures are required and in heavily modifying this driver, the signature was subsequently invalidated.

This means that you MUST FOLLOW THE SUPPLIED DIRECTIONS to INSTALL THE DRIVER.

That being said, Broadcom Unreleased Source Code was used as a base for this driver which now supports:

Windows Server 2008 32/64 (all vers.)

Windows Server 2003 32/64 (all vers.)

Windows 7 32/64 (all vers.)

Windows Vista 32/64 (all vers.)

Windows XP 32/64 (all vers.)

*Linux — You may have to slightly modify the bcmwl6.inf by opening with notepad, holding CTRL+F to find text that reads:

«JP» = %United States%

Use the Linuxant Driverloader or NDISWRAPPER to load the Windows driver and this will give you the United States Default setting but channel multipliers for Japan.

The same can be edited for Germany if 13 channels are adequate and you require the added throughput. Linux lacks the ability to go into «Properties» and manually switch the region after the fact, so a slight amount of tinkering is up to you. If you are into Linux, then this should not bother you, enjoy.
