BIMx Desktop Viewer

Hyper-models created with GRAPHISOFT Archicad can be shared with anyone who has either a mobile or desktop version of BIMx app. The BIMx Desktop Viewer is a native Mac/Win application that allows you to navigate in the virtual architectural project (saved in bimx file format) on desktop computers and notebooks.

Installation

Download the BIMx Desktop Viewer.

Note: The BIMx Desktop Viewer application is included in the Archicad package. In case you don’t have Archicad installed on your computer, or you would like to update your BIMx Desktop Viewer to the latest version, please use the following installers.
The installer can be used for any language versions.

Start the installer. The installer wizard will guide you through the installation process.

For detailed description of BIMx, about its menu commands, navigation tools and shorcuts please study the BIMx Desktop Viewer User Guide.

Notes on Uninstalling:

Windows:
Open “Control Panel” and select “Programs and Features” to remove the GRAPHISOFT BIMx Desktop Viewer application from your computer. You can also browse your BIMx Desktop Viewer folder and execute the uninstaller in the Uninstall.BIMx subfolder.

Mac OS X:
To uninstall the application run the uninstaller at ‘/Applications/GRAPHISOFT/BIMx Desktop Viewer/Uninstall.BIMx’ folder.

Legacy Version of BIMx Desktop Viewer

With the release of our next-gen BIMx Desktop Viewer 2020, the earlier version is unsupported and enters into a legacy status. It is highly recommended to download and use our latest release.

Windows:

Project Viewer 365 for Mac allows project team members to open MS Project MPP Plans from cloud locations like Google Drive. Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Box, Basecamp, URL Links and email attachments.

Project Viewer 365 for Mac is compatible with Microsoft Project (MPP file format) 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003 and earlier versions. The interface is intuitive making Project Viewer simple for the end users.

Free view-only MS Project views like Gantt chart, Task Sheet and Resource Sheet are available along with basic project plan sorting, filters, zooming and time scale viewing capabilities.
