LiaraTsoni Работа тройного или двойного буфера кадров подразумевает наличие синхронизации. Хоть через драйвер, хоть в игре. Без синхронизации буферизации не будет. Тоже касается и пререндеред фреймс. Прошу обратить внимание, что современные игры х64 не позволяют форсировать тройную буферизацию сторонними приложениями. Одноименная опция драйвера нвидии работает только с openGL.

I realize the old Steam forums are being used less and less, and probably not at all by new users so i figured i’d make a new tread here.

Hey all, i prefer my games to be windowed for alt/tab but i also prefer my games to look full screen, i know there’s allot of «scripts» out there for specific games but i figured id write up one app to enable it for all my games.

Adding a game’s window.

• Run the app and start up a game.
• Make sure you run the game in windowed mode before adding it to the app.
• After you have set your game to run windowed, click the app’s tray icon and select «Add window«
• Go back to your game and while the game window is active press «F3«
• Your game should now be in windowed border-less mode, your settings are saved so the app will recognize your game whenever it runs in windowed mode again and automatically set it to be borderless.

Forcing borderless window.
In addition to automatically setting your games borderless you can also trigger this action by pressing F4 while ingame.

Removing a game

• Click the app’s tray icon and select «Open game settings«
• select the game and press Delete, this app no longer manages that games window style.

Setting a windows position
By default the borderless window is positioned at coordinates 0,0 on your screen, in the rare event that the game’s window is an odd one you can edit the coordinates in the config file by changing the «PosX» and «PosY» values in the Game settings.

Attempting to re-size a window
By default the game doesn’t re-size, but in case its necessary you can do so in the game settings, which can be found by clicking on the tray icon.
In most cases it is advisable to use your native resolution.

This app detects DXWnd if a DXWnd folder is in the same folder as this app’s exe.

Fullscreen is always borderless, in any game. «Borderless Fullscreen» is a term I’ve only heard from you, now. It’s actually a redundant term, as the word fullscreen itself inherently implies the screen is full of the game interface and 0% of anything else.

Borderless Window mode, is different. Apparently, you haven’t played a game with it. I will explain why I bring it up and why it’s so popular in many other games, the past few years.

There are two overarching reasons for Borderless Window mode being superior to Fullscreen mode are two-fold. One, of course, the asthetics — it looks far nicer than having that silly title bar being displayed when you’re deep into playing something you enjoy. Two, is performance. A great many games perform far better in Window Mode (including SR).

An itemized list I got off a website discussing Borderless Window Mode:

— Borderless fullscreen windowed offers similar benefits as normal windowed mode, but with a fullscreen-like appearance.
— Native feature in many modern titles, and can often be forced in the majority of older titles.
Can sometimes be used to enable wider or higher resolutions via resizing the game’s viewport.
— Seamless task switching with no risk of crashes or freezes with a minor loss in performance.
— Eliminates screen tearing on Windows due to Vsync being applied over any windows by default.

It’s basically been a staple in many titles over the past few years and many have come to expect this simple, yet highly desirable option in titles they enjoy playing.
