Select “Modify Printer”
Enter Your sudo Username & Pass
Select the Protocol and Continue…

So first Launch Printer Configure App
On Mate/Cinnamon Simply Start Typing ‘printer’.

Как установить драйвер
Запустите скаченный файл.
Для продолжения установки принимаем лицензионное соглашение с конечным пользователем.
Выбираем пункт с серией оборудования, в данном случае это HL-2140 series.
Первая установка не требует инсталляции отдельных элементов. Для загрузки комплексного ПО отметьте «Стандартная установка».
Потребуется выбрать метод подключения. Ориентируйтесь на задачи, которые потребуются от устройства. В данной инструкции было достаточно локального подключения.
Осталось подключить питание к принтеру и соединить кабелем USB компьютер с устройством. Внимание: если вы уже подключили кабель к ПК, отсоедините его и подключите заново.
Регистрация On-line не требуется, тем более что эта услуга доступна не во всех регионах.
Выставляем галочки на двух следующих пунктах и заканчиваем установку программного обеспечения. Внимание: пункт «Принтер по умолчанию» следует выставлять если устройство будет единственным или приоритетным в использовании. В противном случае галочку следует снять.
На этом процесс установки закончен. По её окончанию следует проверить работоспособность устройства путем распечатывания тестового документа.
