Bugcheckcode 209 windows 10

Bugcheck code 209, kernel power 41 63, intelppm.sys

My computer constantly freezes and restarts (kernel power 41 63). For the first time I’ve caught bugcheck and minidump file (link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=11atCTZFZiH5P2kCpCJEgDL5_pOSQILBb ) Can someone tell me what’s going on? I’ve already updated BIOS, turned off fast startup, all drivers are up-to-date according to device manager. Computer restarts during gaming, listening to music and laying idle. It happens on Linux as well.

Hi 포커스
Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. Can you upload minidumps as well which will be of size ranging between few hundred KBs to few MBs?

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD with BugcheckCode 209

I have been getting random BSODs while running everyday tasks on my PC. I am running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro. The BSOD error reports IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and in the Event Viewer I can see multiple Critical Kernel-Power events with a few different BugcheckCodes, the most recent one being 209 as shown below. I also have a dump file from the same time as the latest Kernel-Power event. I tried downloading tools to analyze the dump file but wasn’t able to do so. Can anyone help me with this issue? Is there a way I can attach the zipped dump file here? Thanks in advance.

Hi Nimadi, to diagnose the underlying issue, I need to analyse your Mini-dump file(s):

Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Zip up the contents of that folder

If you have problems zipping those files, copy them out onto your Desktop and zip them from there

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)

Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Sorry, that Mini-dump is non-specific, it does not indicate the actual cause of your system crashes . .

If you get another crash and a new Mini-dump is generated, please post that and I will have a look for you . . .

That minidump file indicates your Nvidia graphics card device river as the cause of your System Crashes . . .

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)
Expand the Display Adapters Section
Right click your video card and choose Properties
On the Driver Tab, choose ‘Roll back Driver’

Restart your PC once done . . .

If that does not resolve the issue, go to the support page for your device on the manufacturers website, then download and install the video driver they recommend, it may well be an older version to the one you are currently running
