Как установить драйвер в Windows 10

Сканеры от японской компании Canon – это надежное и полнофункциональное решение, которое обладает всеми необходимыми функциями для использования дома (сканирование фото, графиков, схем) и в офисе (сканирование и распознавание документов). Однако, настройка таких устройств имеет ряд нюансов, не зная о которых, можно получить неработающий сканер. Чтобы этого не случилось, действуем по инструкции.

Первым делом переходим по гиперссылкам, которые размещены в шапке данной статьи и предназначены для того, чтобы скачать драйвера CanoScan Toolbox версии 4.9.3.2. Дистрибутив для установки будет скачен в виде архивного файла и его надлежит распаковать используя встроенную в систему программу, либо можно скачать бесплатный архиватор 7ZIP.

После распаковки, переходим в папку, где располагаются файлы и находим там тот, который называется «Setup.exe». Это исполнительный файл и его необходимо запустить двойным щелчком мыши.

В первом, приветственном окне нет дополнительных настроек, поэтому сражу жмем «Далее».

Далее можно поменять папку, куда будут скопированы файлы драйвера (это можно сделать, нажав кнопку «Обзор»). Это делать не рекомендуется, поэтому жмем по кнопке «Далее».

Далее указываем имя папки, которая будет создана в меню «Пуск» и жмем кнопку «Далее».

Дожидаемся, пока программа скопирует все необходимые файлы и выдаст финальное окно.

Тут необходимо отметить пункт о необходимости перезагрузки и нажать «Готово».

Caution

1.When upgrading the OS from Windows XP to Windows Vista with Toolbox installed, Toolbox may not be operate correctly.
Preventive action:
After uninstalling Toolbox, re-install it. (Overwriting cannot rectify the phenomenon.)

2.When specifying the destination to save Toolbox, which is a temporary folder just below the drive where the OS is installed, an error may occur.
Preventive action:
Specify the folder not the drive.

3.Scanning may not start even after pressing the EZ button.
Preventive action:
The UI may be located behind another window while the scanner is waiting for the next operation. Click Toolbox in the taskbar to bring the UI to the front of the screen. Confirm the display.

4.When opening Toolbox using Aero view and Larger scale setting, the UI may not be displayed properly.
Preventive action:
When using Larger scale, use Classic Style for the OS display.

5.When the printer driver included in the OS is used, some printing-related functions such as Vivid Photo, etc. cannot be performed.
Preventive action:
Additionally install Add-on module for the printer driver.

1. Click the link, select [ Save ], specify «Save As», then click [ Save ] to download the file.
Memo :
If you select [ Run ] ( or [ Open ] ) instead of [ Save ], the file will be automatically installed after it is saved.
2. The downloaded file will be saved in the specified place in the self-extracting form ( .exe format ).
3. Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.
