— Newly supports Mac OS X v10.5.
— The problem that CanoScan Toolbox cannot be launched in the Mac OS X v10.5 environment has been rectified.

1. After upgrading Toolbox, ScanGear cannot be used.
(Preventive action) Use ScanGear supporting Universal Binary.

2. When Toolbox is installed, the settings for the button and application are reset.
(Preventive action) Prefset will not be released. Specify each setting manually again.

3. In Intel Mac, when launching Toolbox after selecting Open Using Rosetta, Toolbox may not operate properly.
(Preventive action) In Intel Mac, use Toolbox in Native operation.

4. Toolbox cannot be installed in Mac OS 10.2.7 or before. An error message is displayed.
(Preventive action) As Mac OS 10.2.7 or before are not supported, Toolbox cannot be installed in them. Upgrade the OS to 10.2.8 or higher.

5. The EZ button may not respond in rare cases.
(Preventive action) Restart the OS. Update History

*If you are using a TWAIN driver
This driver is not compatible with TWAIN drivers.
If you are using a TWAIN driver, use Version 2.5.0 or earlier of this driver and a supported printer model.
Supported printer models can be confirmed in the README file of each version.
If you have installed Version 2.6.0 or later of this driver, perform an overwrite installation of Version 2.5.0 or earlier and use that.

The scanner function cannot be used with a network connection for the following products. Use of the scanner function is only supported through a USB connection.

EOS Utility is software for communication with your EOS DIGITAL camera.

Setup instruction

Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
Exit all other applications when installing this software.

1. Download «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg.zip» from the download page. Save the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg.zip» file to a folder of your preference on your computer.

2. Double-click the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg.zip» file. After the file is decompressed, the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg» file is created.

3. Double-click the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg» file. After the file is decompressed, the disc image «EU3.11.1» is mounted.

4. Double-click the «eum3.11.1-installer» file in the «EU3.11.1».

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
* This software will be installed together with EOS Utility 2, EOS Lens Registration Tool, and EOS Web Service Registration Tool.

6. After the installation is complete, the EOS Utility installer may ask to restart the computer. In this case, restart the computer. If the installation is completed properly, the downloaded file and the «EU3.11.1» file will not be necessary.
