Любому владельцу iPhone приходила в голову мысль изменить название оператора в верхнем меню чем-то более оригинальным, например своим логотипом или ником в Twitter. Для устройств с джейлбрейком в Cydia представлено множество соответствующих решений, например Zeppelin с пакетом готовых изображений. Но как быть тем, кто использует i-девайс без джейлбрейка? На помощь придет программа CarrierEditor.

CarrierEditor – это бесплатное приложение для Mac, которое позволяет парой кликов установить на iPhone или iPad любое графическое изображение в верхнее меню. Вместе с приложением идет десяток разнообразных иконок, в том числе логотипы Apple, PACMac, AssasinsCreed и другие. Если вы ищите простой способ заменить текстовое название оператора iГаджета одной из оригинальных иконок, то CarrierEditor для вас. Для установки картинки вам даже не придется перезагружать свой iPhone.

Как поменять логотип оператора на iPhone и iPad без джейлбрейка

Шаг 1: Скачайте CarrierEditor для Mac по этой ссылке.

Шаг 2: Зайдите в меню своего iPhone или iPad Настройки –> Основные –> Об этом устройстве.

Шаг 3: Пролистайте вниз до строчки Оператор и запомните цифровое обозначение рядом с названием компании. Например, для «Билайна» это «13.0».

Шаг 4: Запустите программу, нажмите кнопку Let’s Get Started и на экране Need Some Quick Info введите в строчку код, который вы узнали на Шаге 3. Нажмите Next.

Шаг 5: На экране Carrier Information вы увидите два выпадающих списка – устройство и оператор. В первом укажите iPhone или iPad, в зависимости от вашего iГаджета, а во втором выберите своего провайдера сотовых услуг. Для «Билайна» – это Beeline (VimpelCom_ru), для «МТС» – Mobile TeleSystems (MTS_ru), для «Мегафона» – Megafon (MegaFon_ru).

Шаг 6: Откроется раздел Customization, где вам нужно поместить свой логотип в двух окошках. Если у вас нет готовых PNG-файлов, вы можете воспользоваться изображениями из папки ZeppelinLogos. В каждой директории находятся два логотипа «black» и «etched». Перенесите их в соответствующие поля на экране Customization в приложении.

Шаг 7: Нажмите кнопку Compile Carrier Update (.ipcc). После этого на рабочем столе появятся два файла вида «VimpelCom_ru_original.ipcc» и «VimpelCom_ru_v13.1.ipcc». Первый – это резервная копия файла настроек логотипа, а второй – кастомный, с вашим изображением.

Шаг 8: Откройте iTunes и переключитесь на устройство. Удеживая на клавиатуре кнопку Alt, нажмите «Восстановить». В открывшемся окне укажите файл с расширением «ipcc» на рабочем столе, который содержит кастомный логотип оператора. Нажмите Открыть.

Как изменить логотип оператора на iPhone или iPad без джейлбрейка с помощью CustomCarrierLogo на Windows

Мы уже рассказывали Вам о том, как изменить логотип оператора на iPhone или iPad с помощью CarrierEditor для Mac. Теперь подобная процедура доступна и пользователям Windows с помощью новой утилиты CustomCarrierLogo. В программе уже есть определенный набор логотипов, но помимо этого она позволяет выбрать собственное изображение или ввести любой текст. Напомним, что изменить логотип оператора на iPhone с помощью CustomCarrierLogo можно без джейлбрейка.

1. Скачать CustomCarrierLogo для Windows на нашей странице с файлами (ссылка внизу страницы).
2. На своем iPhone или iPad зайдите в меню настроек Основные –> Об этом устройстве.
3. Найдите поле «Оператор» и запомните цифровое обозначение рядом с его именем.
4. Запустите CustomCarrierLogo на ПК.
5. Нажмите «Let’s Get Started» и перейдите к настройкам программы.
6. В поле Current Carrier Version введите код из шага 3.
7. В поле «Device» выберите модель Вашего устройства, а в поле «Carrier» — выберите название своего оператора.
8. Теперь следует выбрать текстовый либо графический вариант логотипа. Во втором случае можно либо добавить свой файл в формате *.PNG, либо воспользоваться одним из представленных здесь вариантов.
9. Нажмите «Create IPCC Carrier Bandle» и ожидайте сообщения об успешном окончании операции. На рабочем столе будут созданы два файла в формате *.ipcc. Первый — это сохраненная копия Вашего старого логотипа, а второй — новый.
10. Откройте с помощью архиватора полученный файл .ipcc с рабочего стола. Текстовым редактором, например Notepad++ откройте файлы info.plist и version.plist и откорректируйте строку, содержащую числовое значение типа 13,1 на 13.1 (поменяйте с «запятой» на «точку»). Сохраните файл и обновите архив.
11. Запустите iTunes и выберите в меню подключенное iOS-устройство. Удерживая на клавиатуре «Shift», нажмите «Восстановить» и выберите свой новый файл *.ipcc из предыдущего шага. Нажмите «Открыть».

Первое изменение не потребует перезагрузки устройства, а для последующих — оно понадобится. Чтобы вернуть стандартный логотип — проделайте пункт 10, но укажите в нем файл *.ipcc по умолчанию.

Download CarrierEditor for Windows — Change iPhone Carrier Logo without Jailbreak

Several days ago we introduced you a Mac software called CarrierEditor. This software will help you change iPhone carrier logo without Jailbreak. Today an iOS developer Dany Lisiansky has released a CarrierEditor for the Windows named CustomCarrierLogo.

Tutorial: Download CarrierEditor for Window — Change iPhone Carrier Logo without Jailbreak

Step 1 : Download CustomCarrierLogo here

Step 2 : Run CustomCarrierLog.exe

Step 3 : Click on «Let’s get started» button

Step 4 : CustomCarrierLogo will ask for your current carrier version that’s you’re phone is using right now. Just go to Settings > General > About on your iOS device to find the carrier version of your device.

Step 5 : Enter the number that you see into the software under Current Carrier Version

Step 6 : Choose your iDevice type. For example: iPhone

Step 7 : Click «Browse» buttons to the right of the black logo and etched logo labels to select the logos you want to use. You can use any logos you may have from Cydia, or that you’ve downloaded from the Internet, or from this handy little logo pack (link). After everything is in order, click on the Create IPCC Carrier Bundle button to build your carrier update:

Step 8 : You will be notify when your IPCC file is complete

Step 9 : Connect your iDevice to your computer and launch iTunes.

Step 10 : Hold down the Shift key and click on the Restore iPhone button. Select the .ipcc file that you just made and then click on the Open button to apply the carrier update to your device.

Step 11 : After iTunes finishes loading the carrier update, then go ahead and reboot your iDevice. That’s it. You’re have done changing your iPhone or iPad carrierl Logo without Jailbreak it. Via Modmyi

How to create a custom carrier logo without jailbreaking using Windows

A few days ago we showed you how to add a custom carrier logo to a non-jailbroken cellular iOS device. The app to enable the hack — CarrierEditor — is a Mac only app, so only Mac users were able to take advantage of the feature.

Now it’s your turn, Microsoft faithful, as developer Dany Lisiansky steps up to the plate to provide a custom carrier logo solution for Windows users

If you read our original post on CarrierEditor, then you’ll be happy to note that the process for adding a custom carrier logo using a Windows machine is virtually the same as it is on the Mac. Take a look inside as we break down the entire process in our full video walkthrough…

Step 1: Download CustomCarrierLogo, and if you’d like some Zeppelin Logos to play around with you can download CarrierEditor just for the logos only.

Step 2: Run CustomCarrierLogo and click Let’s Get Started.

Step 3: Identify your iPhone or cellular iPad’s Carrier version via Settings > General > About. Type in the carrier version number in the Current Carrier Version field at the top of the CustomCarrierLogo app.

Step 4: Select the device you are using and the carrier name from the two drop down boxes below the Current Carrier Version field.

Step 5: Now it’s time to select the actual logos below. The nice thing about CustomCarrierLogo is that not only can you select an actual picture based logo, but you can also create your own custom logo on the fly using text. Personally I prefer the picture based logos, as they look cleaner, but it’s entirely possible to create a decent looking logo on the fly if you select the proper font style and font preferences.

Step 6: Since CustomCarrierLogo isn’t bundled with Zeppelin Logos, you can either make your own, or download the CarrierEditor file above and extract the bundled Zeppelin logos that come along with it. I suggest that you follow this method for quick and easy access to a handful of good logos.

Step 7: Once you’ve selected the logos that you want to use, click the Create IPCC Carrier Bundle button. This will place two .ipcc files on your desktop — one labeled Original, which is a backup of the original carrier logo, and the other being your newly created custom logo.

Step 8: Open iTunes and ensure that your device is connected to your computer. Select your device and navigate to the device summary page. Hold Shift on your keyboard and click the Restore button. In the drop down menu in the bottom right-hand corner, select iPhone/iPad Carrier Configuration. Next, select the .ipcc file not labeled Original on your desktop. Your carrier settings will be updated, and you should see the Carrier logo change to the logo that you selected.

Step 9: To change back to the original carrier settings, simply perform step 8 again, and select the .ipcc file labeled Original instead, and then reboot your device.

Note: again, this only works for cellular enabled device like the iPhone or the iPad 3G/LTE.
