Let’s hope drivers are gonna catch perfection until then.

both AMD and Nvidia have their cards made at TSMC
both the Xbox Next and PS4 are rumoured to contain AMD GPU’s
so, from the last point, you can deduce that Xbox Next and PS4 GPU’s will be made at TSMC
both Microsoft and Sony want to have enough units to meet demand when they go on sale
the Xbox Next and PS4 GPU’s will have a higher priority at TSMC
due to the demand for the Xbox Next GPU’s and PS4 GPU’s AMD and Nvidia GPU’s are of a lower priority
AMD are okay with the lower priority because they get sales regardless through the console GPU’s
Nvidia relents, it allows them more time to tweak their hardware
neither AMD or Nvidia want to admit this is the case
end result is, both next gen GPU architecture series are delayed

Yes, I did make that up, and no doubt it will be disagreed upon by many, many people, but if you actually look at it objectively, it does actually make sense!
