I love this game.

However, when I updated my MAC to Mavericks, now the game won’t launch! Please please please fix it.

I am so pumped that I found this game. I played this way back when I was a kid. I love it! Although it was REALLY hard for me to spend ten bucks with no rating or reviews (or just ten bucks on ANY app like this, for that matter) I must say, I am really impressed! There’s only one small problem I’ve found after winning the game. the controls for attachments cannot be used on a trackpad, which is pretty much what everyone that would buy this would use. There is no difference in left, right, or middle clicks, so my attachment automatically fire and are useless on my MacBook.

HOWEVER: if the makers of this app are reading this, I would really appreciate a way to buy the next Chicken Invaders as an upgrade for a discounted price. I (and I’m certain everyone who thinks about it or reads this review) would be really upset if I have to buy ANOTHER Chicken Invader. I already spent 20 bucks on Chicken Invader 3 and 4. Upgrade for Chicken Invaders 5 please? If not, 1 star rating.

Overall, yeah, fantastic app. Way to go. I highly reccomend.

I’ve played chicken invaders since I was a kid, and was awesome when I found it on my Macbook’s App store, I wonder why such a great game like this doesn’t have so many ratings & reviews.

The turkeys revolted three years ago. Not coincidentally, that was the same year mankind last had Thanksgiving dinner.

We should have seen it coming. It was the logical conclusion of our perennial turkey oppression. Years of slicing, dicing, chopping, and carving in the name of tastiness. Gobble-gobble, indeed.

Even as the revolution flared, we thought it would be easy. We thought they were dim-witted, clumsy, unworthy adversaries. We thought they would soon be on our Thanksgiving dinner table again. We thought wrong.

They had outside help. Intergalactic turkeys flocked to the aid of their earthly brethren. They were intelligent, organized, technologically advanced. And they were merciless.

It’s now time for you to fight for our ancestral right to turkey roast. Will you triumph over the foul fowls? Will mankind ever have Thanksgiving dinner again? Or will you end up as part of the menu in a galactic turkey restaurant?

They came without warning, squawking menacingly, their ruffled feathers darkening the sun. Invading intergalactic chickens, out to punish humanity for our oppression of their earthly brethren.

I instantly knew what had to be done. I dropped my half-eaten chicken burger and jumped in my cockpit. With a greasy finger I set my lasers to «extra crispy» and blasted off to intercept the fowl invaders.

It wasn’t easy. Squawks, feathers flying, the smell of charred chicken everywhere. Three times they invaded, each time with increasingly devious plans. Three times I managed to push them back whence they came, and secure humanity a few more years as the dominant species of this planet.

After their last retreat, I headed for my local Space Burger to bask in the glow of my recent victory. Breathing a sigh of relief, I sat down to enjoy a double chicken-burger with crispy chicken wings on the side.

Little did I know that my greatest adventure was yet to come.
