The magic is the result of the Rain-X, which repels dirt, water, and grime on your windows. The reason your windows dirty up so quickly is due to the harsh rain spots. This method repels the rain so it literally trickles right off the window!

Blue Rain Window Cleaning Method Instructions

1. The first thing that you need to do is wash your windows with the dish soap. We have posted a helpful video below that shows you how to wash windows like a Pro using a microfibre cloth squeegee.

If you can’t get one of those, you can use a regular cloth and bucket. You will have to put in a little more elbow grease though to get those streaks out.

2. Now spray all your outdoor windows with Rain-X Original. You can use a cloth or newspaper as they recommend, or use a squeegee.

3. Now that you’ve washed up the outside of your windows, you’ll want to repeat on the inside. You’ll wash them with dish soap, just as you did the outside.

Using the Rain-X 2-in-1 repellant, which is safer to use inside, you can easily get the same protection on both sides of the window.

This Blue Rain Window Cleaning Method takes no longer than the traditional way of cleaning your windows with soap and water.

To begin using the Blue Rain window cleaning method, homeowners will require the following:

• Blue Dawn dishwashing soap
• Rain-X original
• Rain-X 2-in-1

The Steps to a Cleaner Window

Step 1:

Put a drop of Blue Dawn in a spray bottle filled with warm water. Shake the bottle and then apply to the windows. Wipe off in a circular motion with a newspaper or paper towel. Homeowners may need to add an additional drop of Blue Dawn to the mixture if their windows are especially dirty.

Step 2 (Outside surface only):

Wait till the window is dry and then apply Rain-X. To apply, spray Rain-X Original about 1.5 feet away from the window – just enough to mist the surface. Then wipe the surface with a newspaper in a circular motion.

Step 3 (Inside surface):

Spray the Rain-X 2-in-1 about 1.5 feet away from the window. Then wipe the surface with a newspaper in a circular motion.
