Creative sound blaster audigy linux

sound blaster audigy 4

нету звука в ubuntu 9.10 sound blaster audigy 4 и карта определилась как sound blaster audigy 2. Что делать подскажите?

Возможно, в ALSA нет поддержки этой карты.

Как сделать чтоб oss использовалось по умолчанию

То что определилась как «Audigy 2» это нормально. Т.к. Audigy 4 существует кроме Pro версии ещё и в удешевленной версии «Game Edition». И она у тебя.

Больше интересно что покажет команда

Точно могу сказать что в ALSA и в ядре есть поддежка этой карты.

lsmod|grep emu10k что там нужно выбрать?

Команда «lsmod|grep emu10k» показывает загружен ли драйвер. Но как я вижу по выводу команды «aplay -L» у вас звуковая карта правильно опазналась и работает.

Я думаю стоит запустить специальный ALSA регулятор каналов звука и настроек карты. Может звук выключен. Там очень много регулеровок.

У этой звуковой карты может по дефолту при прослушивании стерео звука звук может идти на другие разьемы. Поэтому стоит переподключить штекер на другой вход.

creative audigy и linux

в общем, есть creative audigy, есть archlinux. в ядре включен модуль ca0106. lspci не видит эту звуковуху, alsaconf ничего не находит. куда копать?

— ядро, ALSA — версия.
Насколько я знаю, на нескольких последних версиях ALSA работает без особых проблем.
В гугле пруд-пруди инфы по теме.

эээ, а что это за модуль такой? у меня для audigy4 юзается emu10k, вообще-то.

модуль emu10k вроде должен быть, правильно выше сказали.

Есть CA0106, а есть emu10k

CA0106 это AudigySE, Live24!, X-Fi XTreme Audio

Emu10k это все остальные, которые уже не выпускаются несколько лет

Если lspci её не видит, то копать нужно в сторону неисправности самой звуковухи, материнской платы, какого-нибудь конфликта прерываний или страшной баги в драйвере на чипсет. ALSA тут пока ещё не у дел =).

еще бывают usb-шные audigy, тут lspci какбэ не при делах.

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 zs

Было встроенное реалтековское аудио? поставил Sound Blaster Audigy 2 zs, не могу настроить, звука нет. Система — Ubuntu 7.10.

Отключите встроенное аудио в биосе — иначе оно может менятся местами с аудиджи и привносить небольшой геморрой в вашу мирную жизнь.

Еще можно помотреть что там в микшере с громкостью и устройством вывода.

В биосе отключил всё, в alsamixer отключил Audigy Analog/Digital output jack, не пашет всё равно.

А чего там настраивать? Громкости прибавить и все. Уж с чем-чем, а со второй аудигой грабли найтить — это уж быть феноменально невезучим человеком.

О да) Грабли точно найти на ней это верх мозгоедения.

Что там настраивать? Она встает как милая сама, и по главному каналу сходу выдает 80% мощности. Может колонки не туда впихнул, или забыл переставить штекера в новую звуковую?

альсу поставь,будет с ней и миксер и альсаконф

а да миксер есть. попробуй под каким нибудь ливцд типа geexbox(9мб) или тотже RIPLinux.

[SOLVED] Sound Blaster Audigy Rx unable to acquire microphone

Hi,
I have Sound Blaster Audigy Rx and I’ve just tried to acquire a stereo microphone but I failed.
I’ve tried both the Mic1 and Mic2: I was able to hear my voice on the speakers, when using an high capture gain, but no sound was passed to the system, meaning I could not use it for skype, record audio, steam voice chat etc. Also on «Audio» panel, no matter the input gain and how loud I speak, the bar is always grayed out.

I’ve tried to turn up all possible volumes even from «alsamixer» in the CLI with no luck.
I do have another issue: in order to use the microphone I’ve had to use a USB audio card and now the Sound Blaster is not the preferred device: each time I restart the computer I have to set right output device.

How can I solve those issues?

I’m running Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon 64bit.

Hi Vortigern, and welcome to the forum.

Install and run PulseAudio Volume Control (pavucontrol.)

On the Output Devices tab enable the check mark for the device you want as default. That should prevent having to change things after a reboot.

To get the mic working, first go to the Configuration tab and make sure the Profile includes Input or Duplex. If the SB card is set to Output only, that would explain why the mic isn’t working. Then you can check the Input Devices tab to see if it recognizes the mic being plugged in. You can also set the default input here by enabling the appropriate check mark.

That doesn’t work as well, I’ve already set the SB as both output/input device, but this not solves the issue.

/.config/pulse and run pulseaudio -k in the terminal. Wait a moment, then play with your sound settings to get them set as you want. See if they stick after a reboot after that. If not, we can edit default.pa to make it stick, but I think what I’ve given you should work.

Hi again Vortigern. That’s great that you got the issue solved the way you did!

In fact, I think you got where you needed to be in fewer steps than if we followed the path I was heading down. Pretty sure I was thinking of setting defaults at the bottom of default.pa, that would still have been ignored in your use case.
