Удаление CrossOver из операционной системы Ubuntu

CrossOver находится в двух местах в Linux.

Бинарные файлы CrossOver хранит в /opt/cxoffice/

Файлы «бутылки» установленных программ и конфигурации находятся в /home/имя_пользователя/.cxoffice/

Для удаления программы откройте диспетчер пакетов Synaptic выполните поиск CrossOver.

Щелкните правой кнопкой мыши на элемент CrossOver и выберите Отметить для удаления, затем щелкните Применить изменения.

Удалить программу из CrossOver в Ubuntu

Мы приведем живой пример на астрологической программе Zet. После установки программа находится в домашней директории: /home/имя_пользователя/.cxoffice/

В этой программе находится база данных клиентов и нам необходимо сохранить ее. Путь: /home/имя_пользователя/.cxoffice/zet/drive_c/Program Files/ZET512/

Копируем и сохраняем папку DBase. Теперь мы можем зачистить папку .cxoffice/ или удалить ее полностью.

Remove CrossOver as installed from the Ubuntu Software Center

CrossOver 12.5.1 is the first version of CrossOver that is multi-arch compatible. This means some headache when upgrading.

If you installed from the Ubuntu Software Center, please open a terminal (ctrl+alt+T) and give the following command as user:
/opt/cxoffice/bin/cxuninstall
Then, the same command as root:
sudo /opt/cxoffice/bin/cxuninstall
Now, restart the installation.

Remove the Ubuntu Software Center’s Crossover 11.0.2 trial

Generally speaking, you’ll want to remove Crossover from your Linux computer according to these instructions.

However, if you installed Crossover (Trial) by searching for «Crossover» in the Ubuntu software center and then installing the version of our software that’s available directly through the Ubuntu Software center (as opposed to downloading a copy from Codeweavers.com), you will have to remove that version of Crossover through the Software Center. Using Crossover’s built-in uninstaller will not work.

Note that you will need to uninstall the Crossover 11.0.2 version installed via the Ubuntu Software Center if you want to upgrade to a newer version via a download from our website.

Установка Crossover в Ubuntu

Crossover — коммерческая надстройка над Wine от компании CodeWears. Она исправляет множество проблем и недочетов этой программы. Установка Crossover в Ubuntu

Скачать установочный deb-пакет для Ubuntu можно с официального сайта CodeWears. Откройте страницу загрузки и укажите на ней свое имя и электронную почту. После этого можно нажать кнопку Download Trial Now, чтобы скачать самую последнюю версию программы.

Почти сразу начнётся загрузка, если нет — нажмите ссылку с текстом Click here.

Если у вас 64-разрядная система, перед тем как переходить к установке, нужно выполнить в терминале (вызовите его командой Ctrl+Alt+T) следующие действия, чтобы разрешить установку 32-битных программ:

sudo dpkg —add-architecture i386

sudo apt update

Теперь можно устанавливать. Откройте полученный пакет в центре приложений и нажмите кнопку Установить:

Остаётся дождаться завершения установки. Новую программу вы найдёте в главном меню:

Также программу можно установить из консоли. Для этого откройте терминал сочетанием клавиш Ctrl+Alt+T и запустите установку:

Если команда выдаст ошибку, выполните следующую команду, чтобы установить необходимые зависимости:

sudo apt install -f

Чтобы удалить Crossover Ubuntu, установленный таким способом, достаточно выполнить эту команду:

sudo apt remove crossover

Removing Crossover Linux

The best way to remove CrossOver depends on the installation method you used.

Removal of .deb installation

The typical Mark for Removal will delete the CrossOver binaries. Mark for Complete Removal will also get rid of the bottles.

1. Quick Removal

Open your package manager (Synaptic in this example) and search for crossover.

Right-click on the CrossOver entry, or go to the Package menu, and choose Mark for Removal.

And apply the changes.

2. Manual Removal

Alternately you can open a terminal and run:

sudo rm -rf /opt/cxoffice rm -rf

or, if your CrossOver installation is located in

/cxoffice instead of /opt/cxoffice run:

sudo dnf erase crossover
(For Fedora 23 and later)

to completely remove CrossOver.

Removal of .bin installation

The best way to remove a .bin installation is using the CrossOver Uninstaller.

Find the uninstaller by searching for «Uninstall CrossOver» in the Dash, and double-click on the Uninstall CrossOver icon to run it.

This will open a prompt which allows you to choose whether or not to keep your bottles during the uninstall, and to complete the uninstall process.

How to remove Crossover from your Mac

Please note on Mac OS 10.7 and later the Library folder is hidden. To reach it open the Finder, go to the Go menu, hold down the Option key, and pick the Library menu item that appears.

1. Drag the CrossOver folder to the trash.

/Users/(your home folder)/Library/Application Support/CrossOver

2. Trash Crossover’s preference files.

/Users/(your home folder)/Library/Preferences/com.codeweavers.*

Delete any com.codeweavers.* files you find in this directory.

2a. Check for additional license files and delete them if present.

3. Drag the Crossover folder from your home folder to the trash.

/Users/(your home folder)/Applications/CrossOver

4. Open Terminal (in Applications>Utilities) and run a command.

defaults delete com.codeweavers.CrossOver
Then logout and back into your user account.

5. Drag Crossover’s application icon to the trash.

If you’re only resetting Crossover you can skip this step.

Using Automator Script to remove crossover.

Download the script in the following link to remove CrossOver.

Once downloaded :
— Double click to unarchive the zip file.
— Double click again on the automator application.

Note you will have «allow it» to run by going to System Preferences> Security & Privacy> General Tab.
When uninstalled, you should see a notification to the top right of your Mac indicating crossover has been removed.
