Dell Inspiron touch screen not working after Windows 10 update
Updated to Windows 10 just fine, no trouble or errors. I start to use the laptop. touch screen does not work. Tried to find out if the files were all there by going to the dell drivers page and I apparently have it all up to date.
What driver am I missing? Where can I get it online? How do I get my touch screen working again?

- Have you checked if Windows is up to date?
- What is the make and model of the device you are working on?
You may want to check if you have any pending updates.
Click Start and then Settings.
Click Update and Recovery
Check for updates under Windows Updates.
Let us know what is the latest operating system does Dell offer drivers for the device you own.

I am having a very similar issue, same equipment. At times, my touch screen works, but with certain programs it does not, or not fully. I have checked and updated all drivers and Windows versions daily.

Sir/Ma’am try to update your BIOS version,I ran into similar problem earlier,no issues after that,also make sure when you update your BIOS switch on the Charger and never interrupt it inbetween,else you might ruin your computer.

OK, lets check to see if the touchscreen is working before Windows loads
Turn on your laptop, on the Dell Logo, press F2 a few times to go to BIOS Settings
Is the Touchscreen working on the BIOS Screen
Exit BIOS without making any changes and let Windows 10 Boot
In Windows, open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)
Are these drivers loaded correctly and enabled?
If they are loaded and enabled, select the HID Compliant Touch Screen device, right click it and choose Uninstall
Reboot your laptop and when Windows reloads a driver for that device see if the TouchScreen then works . . .
Power to the Developer!

Thank you so much, I did update the BIOS and that was the real solution, and it was very fast, I tried many other thing before and only loosed my time, thanks again!
