Driver Information

*Control Panel now ignores F1 key since it has no Help.
*Corrected the filename used for the control panel in the ASIO driver.
*Control Panel now only saves and restores valid, on-screen window positions. When saved position is not valid, the default, centered window position is used.

*Removed “Driver” from the Installer name used within the installer UI.
*Restored repair function from within programs and features.
*Changed installer to use Avid license file rather than the old M-Audio/MidiMan license.

*Addressed “Setup Wizard Ended Prematurely because of an error” issue
*Sync no longer flashes unlocked in control panel when externally sync to a valid sync source.
*Delta now reports installer package version rather than driver version in control panel.
*Added support for older Delta 1010 cards with HWID SUBSYS_A0301412.
*Added multichannel interface for Audiophile 2496.
*Mixed Delta cards now show up with correct name in Cubase and other ASIO clients.

Known Issue: Several Avid Community Forum members and Beta testers have reported an issue where after 3 hours of continuous streaming, audio output will not function when an application such as Windows Media player is paused, stopped or closed. We have been unable to reproduce this issue internally. The known workaround is to restart Windows Audio Service. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc and select the Processes Tab. Right-click Audiosrv and choose stop. Then right-click it again and choose to start the service.

How to Open Device Manager

In Windows 10 & Windows 8.1, right-click the Start menu and select Device Manager

In Windows 8, swipe up from the bottom, or right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose «All Apps» -> swipe or scroll right and choose «Control Panel» (under Windows System section) -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager

In Windows 7, click Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager

In Windows Vista, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Device Manager

In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

Select the Driver tab.

Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
