• Ваша главная цель — выжить. И для этого придётся использовать все доступные средства. Пусть дерево крафта в игре и очень обширное, но нужно следить и за другими базовыми потребностями — голодом и жаждой. Ловите рыбу, ищите фрукты, жарьте мясо на костре (после того, как его скрафтите). Выживайте.
• Помимо подготовленности, от игрока требуется трезво взвешивать свои действия. Аптечек или инъекторов, моментально восстанавливающих здоровье, в игре нет. А самый распространённый бинт хоть и восстанавливает здоровье, но оставляет Гарри уязвимым перед любым нападением.

Главным героем захватывающей игры Day One: Garry’s Incident стал мужчина среднего возраста с массой психологических проблем Гарри Фридман. Он работает пилотом, а все свободное время тратит на беспробудную пьянку. Один из его полетов был не особо успешным. Его самолет потерпел крушение.

Протагонист приходит в себя на алтарном столе. Его пытается принести в жертву своему богу какой-то полоумный жрец. Первым делом главному герою нужно будет ослабить веревки на руках. Сделать это совсем непросто. Освободившись от уз и расшвыряв своих врагов, можно приступить к исследованию храма. Здесь имеется масса полезных предметов, которые помогут выжить и спастись Гарри.

Среди обнаруженных вещей можно увидеть фрукты, таинственное оружие, стреляющее энергией, и массу других элементов. Статуи здесь покрыты таинственными надписями, а вокруг них будут располагаться разнообразные ловушки. Весь геймплей рассчитан на выживание персонажа игрока в непростых условиях. Система крафтинга довольно запутанная и сложная, поэтому здесь придется долго потрудиться. Физика игры не отличается реалистичностью, но графика здесь просто отменная.

Day One App (and Life Journal for Windows users)

I started using the Day One App a while back and really wanted to develop the habit of creating journal entries of daily reflections, random thoughts, my feelings, interesting pictures I took, milestones in my life and/or career, etc. And it has been a very useful tool for those things.

There are of course many ways in which the app can be used. I use it to suit my needs – which can sometimes be all over the place. To remind myself to pen a few words from time to time, I have set up 4 reminders – 9am, 1pm, 5pm and 9pm – so that I can do quick point in time notes in case I have been pre-occupied with other things. I use the 9am and 9pm reminders to write my gratitude entry and reflection entry respectively. The Day One app also lets you publish some of your journal entries via their Publish web site.

Day One has come out with v2 with support for multiple journals and multiple images per entry. But they have also made the move to proprietary sync with their own servers, dropping Dropbox (and iCloud) sync support. For me the functionality updates are not big enough and the loss of Dropbox sync is a huge issue (I like to keep my journal data close). As such, I still continue to use Day One Classic (and have not yet made the jump to the new Day One v2). A lot of other people are similarly worried about aspects such as data security, lack of Dropbox sync and lock-in.

Life Journal – A Windows client for Day One:

One of the things I really wanted was a journal application that could work on my Windows desktop PC. Today, Day One only works on iOS and Mac (both have to be purchased separately). If you want to use Day One on your desktop Windows PC, you are essentially out of luck. I spend a lot of time in front of a Windows PC and wanted to have a tool to maintain my journal – especially when creating verbose entries (which is hard to do on the phone).

I now use Life Journal – which lets me use the app on a Windows desktop PC. Life Journal is a journal app for Windows that allows me to both read and create entries that are fully compatible with Day One (entries I create in Day One can be read and edited by Life Journal and vice versa). It lets me maintain continuity of my Day One journal on my PC (via Dropbox sync). It is a simple, beautiful, yet powerful and full featured application. It is also encrypted by default to keep your journal private. Best of all, I get to control what happens with my data.

Very responsive support team and always looking to improve the product – I highly recommend giving it a try.

If you like to maintain a physical journal (especially a gratitude journal), I would highly recommend the Five Minute Journal by IntelligentChange. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, the folks over at Beautiful Life Apps have created an Adapted Five Minute Journal Template (PDF) that can be purchased and printed at home to create your own gratitude journal.

If you want to install and use the Day One app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App >> . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC — Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Day One in the search bar and press Search. Click on Day Oneapplication icon. A window of Day One on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called «All Apps».
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Day One for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one
