С помощью программы можно изучать грамматику английского языка. Программа содержит 130 уроков, в каждом из которых есть теоретическая и практическая часть.

English Grammar In Use – приложение для Windows, с помощью которого можно изучать английский язык самостоятельно. Программа содержит полный курс грамматики и упражнения для проверки знаний. Также доступна функция навигации по разделам и пояснения к каждому правилу.

Установка

Поскольку приложение разработано под операционную систему DOS, для его запуска необходимо установить эмулятор DOSBox. Далее следует настроить параметры графической оболочки.

Пользователю нужно запустить исполняемый файл DOG.exe и указать путь к папке, в которую был установлен эмулятор. Затем следует ввести произвольные значения имени и версии. На следующем этапе в открывшееся окно необходимо перетащить файлы E_GR.exe и SETUP.exe. Первый требуется для запуска программы, а второй – для настройки параметров работы утилиты.

После выполнения всех операций на экране появится главное окно самоучителя. В нем нужно указать свое имя и нажать клавишу Enter. Управление осуществляется как с помощью мыши, так и с использованием клавиатуры.

Обучение

В приложении содержатся теоретические материалы, позволяющие изучить правила построения предложений и использования времен. К каждому уроку приведены пояснения и примеры. Также доступна информация о спряжении глаголов.

После изучения теории пользователи могут перейти к выполнению практических заданий. Есть возможность получить подсказку и проверить правильность ответов.

English Grammar in Use was written as a self-study grammar book, but teachers may also find it useful as additional course material in cases where further work on grammar is necessary.
The book will probably be most useful at middle- and upper-intermediate levels (where all or nearly all of the material will be relevant), and can serve both as a basis for revision and as a means for practising new structures. It will also be useful for some more advanced students who have problems with grammar and need a book for reference and practice. The book is not intended to be used by elementary learners.
