Если Вам пришлось по каким-либо причинам переустановить систему Linux, а все пароли и закладки в браузере Firefox лень переписывать. Можно их перенести в новую систему намного проще и быстрее, правильнее говоря перенести весть профиль.

В моем случае было так. Обновил до последней версии Linux Mint. Чтобы восстановить Firefox в то состояние, в котором он был до переустановки мне, как и вам, придется выполнить следующие действия.

1. Откройте компьютер на рабочем столе и перейдите в домашнюю папку.

2. После чего в верхнем меню во вкладке Вид на кликните по пункту Показать скрытые папки и файлы или зажмите сочетание клавиш CTRL+H. У Вас отобразятся скрытые файлы и папки. В Linux системах имена скрытых файлов и папок начинаются с точки.

3. Теперь нам необходимо найти папку .mozilla, а в ней папку firefox, в которой есть папка и файл в них и хранятся наши пароли и закладки. Их на картинке я выделил. Начало названия имени папки может немного отличатся у меня в примере и у Вас в компьютере.

Вот эти два объекта мы и копируем с заменой в новую систему с браузером Forefox в аналогичное место. После запуска браузера все сохраненные пароли и закладки вновь станут нам доступны.

Экспорт регистрационных данных из Firefox Lockwise

Если вы хотите сделать резервную копию своих сохранённых логинов и паролей или переместить их в другое приложение, менеджер паролей Firefox Lockwise позволяет вам экспортировать эти данные в файл a .csv (значения разделяются запятыми). Эта функция доступна, начиная с Firefox версии 79.

Предупреждение: Ваши пароли в экспортированном файле не будут зашифрованы и их сможет прочитать любой человек, который сможет увидеть этот файл. Не загружайте онлайн, не отправляйте по почте и не распространяйте экспортированный файл. Удалите этот файл, когда завершите работу.

Экспорт логинов и паролей

1. Щёлкните по кнопке меню , чтобы открыть панель меню.
2. Щёлкните Логины и Пароли Пароли . В новой вкладке откроется страница Firefox Lockwise about:logins.
3. Щёлкните по меню Firefox Lockwise (три точки), затем щёлкните Экспорт логинов… .
4. Появится диалоговое окно, чтобы напомнить вам, что пароли сохраняются в виде читаемого текста. Щёлкните по кнопке Экспортировать… , чтобы продолжить.
   • При доступе к сохранённым паролям вам может быть предложено ввести ваш Основной пароль, если он используется, также может потребоваться аутентификация операционной системы.
5. Вы можете выбрать имя файла и расположение, куда будут сохранены эти экспортированные данные.

Login and passwords from Firefox on Windows PC don’t appear in Firefox on Ubuntu after sync. Is there a way to sync passwords?

Are you using a master password on both computers as this might affect syncing passwords?

If Sync isn’t working then you can use a removable device like a USB stick (jump drive) to transfer personal data. For the passwords you need logins.json and key4.db in current Firefox releases.

You can use the button on the «Help -> Troubleshooting Information» (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

• Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
  Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder
• http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox

You can copy files like these with Firefox closed to the current profile folder to recover specific data.

• bookmarks and history: places.sqlite
• bookmark backups: compressed .jsonlz4 JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder
• cookies.sqlite for the Cookies
• formhistory.sqlite for saved autocomplete Form Data
• logins.json (passwords) and key4.db (58+) or key3.db (57 and older) (decryption key) for Passwords saved in the Password Manager
  if you only have key3.db then make sure to remove an existing key4.db
• cert9.db (58+) or cert8.db (57 and older) for (intermediate) certificates stored in the Certificate Manager
  if you only have cert8.db then make sure to remove an existing cert9.db
• persdict.dat for words you added to the spelling checker dictionary
• permissions.sqlite for Permissions and possibly content-prefs.sqlite for other website specific data (Site Preferences)
• sessionstore.jsonlz4 for open tabs and pinned tabs (see also the sessionstore-backups folder)

Импорт данных логинов из файла

How to export Firefox passwords in Firefox 57+

The following guide provides instructions on how to export passwords in Firefox 57 or newer.

Mozilla released Firefox 57 Quantum in November 2017 and the release changed quite a few things in Firefox. We talked about the release in great length; on the downside, Mozilla removed classic add-on support from the browser, and on the upside, it made Firefox a lot faster and more secure.

Firefox users who try to export passwords stored in the browser may have noticed that it is not possible in Firefox 57 or newer. While you can list all passwords saved in Firefox just like before, you cannot export the passwords because there is no such option available.

Firefox is not the only browser that did not provide password exporting functionality. Google changed Chrome’s password exporting functionality in the past year or so as well and it was for some time impossible to export Chrome passwords using the browser.

Why export passwords?

First question that needs to be answered: why would you want to export passwords? There are several answers to that.

1. You want to import the data into a program that does not support direct password imports from Firefox.
2. You want to save the data for safekeeping.

How to export Firefox passwords

You need to use third-party tools for that currently as there is no first-party option to export Firefox passwords if you run Firefox 57 or newer.

Tip: you can check the version of the browser by selecting Menu > Help > About Firefox.

Password Fox by Nirsoft (Windows)

Password Fox is a portable software for Windows that lists all stored Firefox passwords on start. Note that it picks up the default profile only when you run it.

You need to use the «select folders» icon to change the profile path or run the program with the /profile command line parameter. Note that you need to use /master

as well if you have set a master password for protection.

Select some or all items, and right-click on them afterward to save them to the local system. Password Fox supports saving the selection as plain text, tab or comma delimited files, XML files, HTML files, or KeePass CSV files.

Password Exporter (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

Password Exporter is an open source program that is compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X operating systems. You can download a portable version from the project’s GitHub website and run it on your system afterward. Note that it is quite large (likely because it is based on Electron)

Download and run the program to get started. It displays all detected Firefox profiles in a list and comes with an option to select a custom profile if a particular profile has not been detected.

You are asked to specify the master password if one is set, and select one of the available export file types. Password Exporter supports CSV and Json formats only.
