Serega1987 Новичок Зарегистрирован: 23.07.2009 PerfLib and Loadperf errors, HELP please?Replies (10) I can imagine the inconvenience you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to fix the issue. However, I would appreciate if you could answer a few questions to narrow down the issue in order to provide you with better assistance.
As per the issue description you are getting PerfLib and Loadperf errors and event getting ID 1010, 3011. The issue could be if there is some third party conflict or some system file corruption. It could be also due to some virus/malware. So, try the steps provided below and see if it helps you to fix the issue. Method 1 Step 1 Let’s boot the computer in Safe Mode and check if issue reappears. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that starts your computer in a limited state. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started. The words Safe Mode appear in the corners of your monitor to identify which Windows mode you’re using. You may refer to the article mentioned below to boot the computer in safe mode. Step 2: If your computer works fine in safe mode, I would suggest you to perform clean boot. Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot. How to perform a clean boot in Windows Note : Refer «How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting» to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting. Method 2 If issue still persists try I would suggest you to check the system files are they working fine or not and to check that try to run System File Checker (SFC) tool. SFC scan will scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows 8. Press Windows key and X at the same time. Choose Command Prompt (Admin) from the context menu. In the command prompt, type sfc /scannow and hit Enter. Exit command prompt. For more information refer to this link: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files Method 3 I would suggest you to run security software and check if your system is affected by some viruses. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free downloadable security tool that provides on-demand scanning and helps remove viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. It works with your existing antivirus software. Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss. Hope this would help. If issue still persists post back with current status of your computer and result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to assist you. Was this reply helpful? Sorry this didn’t help. Great! Hello Ramesh Kumar, thank you for your kind reply. I was using Chrome and this site is the first instance where I encountered this problem. Now I will try to post this message with Firefox, and see what happens. Let me explain from the beginning: The main issue was that, while I work, sometimes the disk usage will burst to 100% without any apparent reason. That’s why I’ve been looking often at the Event Viewer in search of some clue. I will try to perform a safe mode boot when I have enough free time, however I have a feeling it won’t be very useful: the events I mentioned don’t appear at boot, it might take even one-two hours of work, so unless I work all day in safe mode (which is not possible as far as I know) it would be almost impossible to encounter them in safe mode anyway.
