Everyone, if you have problem with focusrite saffire 24dps or others and you have no sound but your pc see your soundcard
Just delete your mixcontrol and then download 2.4 version here(yes its for windows 7) but it works well with windows 10 to. Only one problem, mixcontrol will not work, because it will ask you for new version,but audio now will work fine

Are Focusrite’s FireWire Products Compatible With Windows 7?

This applies to the Saffires, Legacy Saffires, and Liquid Mix

All of Focusrite’s FireWire products will work with Windows 7, however some will require the use of the Windows Legacy FireWire driver. How to install the Windows Legacy FireWire driver is outlined below, as is how to revert back to the standard Windows FireWire driver (for users of products that no longer require the Legacy driver). For more information on which FireWire driver your product requires, please visit the Focusrite OS Compatibility Checker.

Saffire MixControl 3.0 and later users should not use the legacy Firewire driver. Please use the standard Windows Firewire driver.

If you experience problems with any of the procedures outlined in this article, please contact Focusrite Technical Support.

Installing the Windows Legacy FireWire Driver (Only when using Saffire MixControl 2.4)

1. With your Focusrite FireWire device disconnected, find your FireWire (IEEE 1394) controller in Device Manager (START>CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>).

2. Click «Update driver»

3. Select «Browse my computer for driver software»

4. Click «Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer»

5. Install the driver that ends with «(Legacy)».

6. Reinstall the latest version of your device drivers from the Focusrite website, and re-connect your device.

Reverting to the Standard Windows FireWire Driver (Please do this if you are using Saffire MixControl 3.0 or later.)

If you were previously using a Focusrite FireWire device with the Windows Legacy FireWire driver, and now need to update your FireWire driver, please follow these steps:

1. With your interface disconnected, find your FireWire (IEEE 1394) controller in Device Manager (START>CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>).

2. Click «Update driver»

3. Select «Search automatically for updated driver software»

4. When the Windows Driver Update has completed, install the latest control software from the Focusrite website, and re-connect your device.

Windows 10 Compatibility

This compatibility information applies to Windows 10 version 20H2.

This applies to systems with Intel/AMD processors, ARM-based systems are not supported and may not work.

Please see below a run-down of Focusrite product compatibility with Windows 10 as it currently stands. We would strongly recommend checking that your computer/motherboard is supported on Windows 10 by the manufacturer before updating and installing any relevant BIOS/chipset updates as required (please contact the manufacturer for assistance with this).

Please check that all other software/hardware you use to make music is also compatible before updating and never update your operating system during the middle of a time-critical project. If you’re using additional software that came bundled with your Focusrite interface (e.g. Ableton Live Lite, Pro Tools First) then please check the corresponding manufacturer’s website for compatibility information.

Saffire FireWire interfaces are no longer under development support , therefore we recommend that users do not upgrade Windows OS beyond Windows 10 build 1809.

Saffire 6 USB

Works with Windows 10 20H2?

Saffire 6 USB 1.1: UNSUPPORTED

The USB 1.1 version of the Saffire 6 USB is not officially supported with Windows 10 2004, though it may work. Please note that Saffire 6 USB 1.1 is no longer part of our development or test plans, see this article: Saffire 6 USB 1.1 — end of development support

Saffire 6 USB 2.0: YES

You can determine whether you have a Saffire 6 USB 1.1 or Saffire 6 USB 2.0 by checking the serial number on the sticker on the underside of the unit. If the serial number begins with ‘SU’, it’s a Saffire 6 USB 1.1. If it begins with ‘S2’, it’s a Saffire 6 USB 2.0.

Forte

Works with Windows 10 20H2? UNSUPPORTED — The latest build of Windows 10 that Forte was tested with was build 1809. It may still work on Windows 10 2004, though we cannot guarantee performance. Please note that Forte is no longer part of our development or test plans, see this article: Forte — end of development support

Works with Windows 10 20H2? Yes

VRM Box

Works with Windows 10 20H2? UNSUPPORTED

Although VRM box is not supported for use in Windows 10 it may still work, though we cannot guarantee performance.
