Windows Store, верни мне мою Gear of War 4!

Желание увидеть продолжение одной из моих любимы серий частично повлияло на покупку сначала современного ПК, а потом и самой игры. Даже зная, насколько это будет неудобно — использовать ещё один магазин игр в довесок к Steam, Origin, Uplay и другим, — я всё равно ввязался, что называется…

И, видимо, заря. Windows Store — это тихий ужас. Всё, что о нём когда-то писали — правда. Он неудобен, т.к. там нет четкой структуры и дробления на категории. Вы легко заблудитесь в поисках обычного приложения для PC или Xbox. Но отрыть Gear of War 4 под слоями непонятных игр и десятков редиректов не в ту часть магазина — это ещё можно. Хотя, неподготовленный юзер волосы на голове изорвёт, пытаясь разобраться в правильной последовательности.

Ну ок, справились — идём дальше. Регистрация в Windows Store привела к тому, что при перезагрузке система у меня запросила пароль на вход, который я, -внимание! — записал в обычной папке, куда скидываю все данные от входа. Как его достать не разбирая и не переставляя жесткий диск в соседний блок (слава богу, он был) — я не разобрался.

Но и это цветочки, по сравнению с тем, что нужно сделать, чтобы поиграть в купленное в Windows Store. По каким-то абсолютно тупейшим правилам игра отказалась устанавливаться на 1 Tb HDD, тупо выдавая ошибку. «Танцы с бубном» не помогли Gear of War 4 установиться. В сети мне подсказали такие же несчастные как и я, но открытие это мне очень не понравилось. Windows Store просто-напросто не умеет что-то и куда-то по просьбе юзера устанавливать. ВООБЩЕ. Ставить надо только на системный диск.

Но шутка в том, что мой системный раздел (SSD) всего объёмом в 112 Гб. А игра кушает 81 Гб. *римшот* И ни добавить, ни объединить его (SSD) с чем-то без потери данных я не могут. Ну ладно. Выкорчевал всё, что было «лишнего» на «C» и таки впихнул игру. Как дурачок прыгал по квартире и радовался шкале загрузки. Как потом выяснилось — зря…

Отложив «Гири» на выходные, в следующий раз при запуске я чуть не побелел от злости — клиент потребовал обновления до 84 Гб… Которых я уже чисто физически не найду на SSD, если, конечно не вырежу из ОС пару гигабайтиков.

Кстати, сам магазин даже и не подумает вам сказать, что это за ошибка и как поступить. Попробуйте ещё раз! — гласит подсказка на миллион и код ошибки, отсылающий к неполадкам в файловой системе самой ОС.

Что называется, поиграл. Теперь ищу Xbox One, чтобы пройти игру на консоли, где ей и самое место. К счастью, за это с меня денег не возьмут — Play anywhere и все дела. Только где теперь взять Xbox?
