Uses and Features

1. Anyone including a child between the ages of 3 years and above can use this tool. It is a perfect tool for kids or anyone who loves creating designs and converting those designs into a meaningful outcome.
2. It comes with better enhanced user interface, pages and content, making the app more user friendly and easy to navigate.
3. You can take Notes with your keyboard or writting with an Apple Pencil or stylus pen. The tool Is also capable of recognizing a users hand writing and converting it to text. I will discuss more on the limits in the pros and cons when I get there.
4. Additionally, In using the app, it transforms your hand drawn shapes into geometrically perfect ones if you choose to.
5. Editing is now easier as editable PDFs can now be selected in the export options.

1. Display documents in your library as a list unlike the previous version.
2. Bookmarking is now possible and can be added to a page. Bookmarks can also feature in the favorites section. Plus, you can as well jump to the exact spot you were, with a single tap.
3. Included in the current version of the tool is an easier search and document category. The concept of categories in Goodnotes 4 was replaced with unlimited nested folders and subfolders which now allow you as a user to organize the documents you want according to their respective details and programs.
4. In this all newtool, it is now possible to search for your notes across all your documents and folders.
5. Like for searches in the document section, the search scan returns results from titles, written notes, PDF files, typed and handwritten notes.
6. Blank new documents can now be created in the open folder section and serves as a straight dive to writing that new idea of yours.

If you want to install and use the GoodNotes 5 app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App >> . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC — Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type GoodNotes 5 in the search bar and press Search. Click on GoodNotes 5application icon. A window of GoodNotes 5 on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called «All Apps».
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS
