Half life steam windows 10

Half-Life

I have gone far too long without playing half-life and I’m wondering if it will work on a windows 10 64bit clean install. Any response would be great!! :excitebox:

It might be a driver issue, not all drivers work with windows 10 yet, are you having trouble with any other games?

Here’s how I got the original Half-Life / Opposing Force / Blue Shift games running with 64-bit Windows 10:

— installed Borderless Gaming, Steam purchase — I could not get these games to run higher than 60fps and not run poorly to boot in full screen mode, but running them windowed works around this. I set them to run windowed in the game options, along with Vsync off (I have Gsync monitor), and added the three executables to the favorites list in BG to get full screen back, windowed

— added the following two lines to config.cfg for each game (in the «valve» folder for Half-Life, the «gearbox» folder for Opposing Force, and the «bshift» folder for Blue Shift):

You don’t need borderless gaming, you can just put

in your launch options to have the game run at borderless windowed.
