HarmonyOS 2.0, новая прошивка Huawei для смартфонов и других гаджетов, продемонстрировала более высокую плавность работы интерфейса в сравнении с iOS. Прошивка Apple также уступила творению Huawei и по умению работать с большим количеством приложений, запущенных в фоновом режиме. Тем не менее, она выступила лучше, чем MIUI 12.5 компании Xiaomi.

Безоговорочная победа Huawei

Мобильная платформа HarmonyOS 2.0 компании Huawei обошла Apple iOS по плавности работы интерфейса. По данным портала MyDrivers, платформы сравнили в малоизвестном за пределами КНР бенчмарке Master Lu.

Разработчики синтетического теста опубликовали новый результат проверки ряда телефонов. Рейтинг возглавила модель Huawei Mate 40 Pro 4G. Это один из самых современных представителей линейки Mate 40, появившейся еще осенью 2020 г. В продажу данный смартфон поступил в Китае в июне 2021 г.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro 4G набрал в бенчмарке почти 183 балла, заняв первое место. На второй строчке оказался еще один аппарат с Harmony OS на борту – Huawei Mate 40E 4G, получивший 181,03 балла. Замыкает первую тройку еще один китайский мобильник, который мог бы тоже относиться к Huawei.

«Бронзу» завоевал моноблок Honor 50 Pro на базе Android с прошивкой Magic UI. Ни Harmony OS, ни оболочка EMUI ему не положены, поскольку Huawei продала свое подразделение Honor еще в ноябре 2020 г. Теперь это независимая от нее отдельная компания.

Примечательно, что смартфоны Apple не вошли даже в первую десятку аппаратов с наиболее плавно работающим интерфейсом. В рейтинге наблюдается засилье устройств китайских производителей.

Сравнение с iOS 14

Для сравнения Harmony OS 2.0 с Apple iOS 14.4.2 разработчики Master Lu использовали методику установки и запуска большого числа приложений. Они проверили общую плавность работы смартфонов на базе этих платформ путем последовательного запуска 22 популярных приложений, перевода их в фоновый режим работы и затем повторного их запуска.

По утверждению исследователей, Harmony OS справилась с такой задачей заметно быстрее, чем iOS. Не исключено, что свою роль в этом сыграла разница в объемах оперативной памяти смартфонов, участвовавших в сравнительном тесте. На стороне Harmony OS выступал Huawei Mate 40 Pro 4G, все комплектации которого поставляются с 8 ГБ ОЗУ. Честь iOS отстаивал флагманский iPhone 12 Pro Max, у которого вне зависимости от емкости накопителя объем ОЗУ равен 6 ГБ.

Косвенно это подтверждает и тот факт, что при уменьшении числа приложений, используемых в тестировании, iOS догнала Harmony OS. Когда программ стало 12, обе системы завершили тестирование с приблизительно равными показателями.

Отдельно разработчики Master Lu протестировали Harmony OS 2.0, Apple iOS 14.4.2 и MIUI 12.5.4 – фирменную прошивку компании Xiaomi. В эксперименте участвовал флагманский Mi 11 Ultra, вышедший, как сообщал CNews, в конце марта 2021 г.

Согласно итогам тестирования, оболочка Xiaomi уступает и iOS, и Harmony OS. В эксперименте использовались самые последние на момент проведения сравнительных тестов стабильные версии оболочек. Тем временем, Xiaomi в настоящее время работает над MIUI 13, а Apple еще в июне 2021 г. анонсировала iOS 15, бета-версия которой доступна для скачивания и установки. Финальная сборка прошивки выйдет осенью 2021 г.

Откуда у Huawei своя операционная система

Возможности выпускать смартфоны и другую технику на базе собственной ОС компания Huawei обязана американским санкциям и лично бывшему Президенту США Дональду Трампу (Donald Trump). Находясь на посту главы государства, Трамп развязал торговую войну с Китаем и сделал Huawei, одну из крупнейших компаний в КНР, рычагом давления в ней.

В мае 2019 г. Трамп запретил Google и ряду других американских ИТ-компаний сотрудничать с Huawei, после чего та лишилась возможности выпускать смартфоны с поддержкой сервисов Google. Из них исчезли YouTube, Drive и даже магазин приложений Google Play, что сразу урезало их функциональность и ударило по их продажам.

К началу августа 2019 г. у Huawei была готова Harmony OS первого поколения (1.0), на базе которой она собиралась строить собственную экосистему. Это была универсальная платформа для смарт-ТВ, компьютеров, носимой электроники, автомобильных развлекательных систем и др., но не для смартфонов.

В декабре 2019 г. Huawei запустила собственный аналог сервисов Google, получивший название Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). В состав набора вошел и магазин AppGallery – заменитель Google Play. По данным портала GSM Arena, на 1 марта 2021 г. у магазина было свыше 530 млн ежемесячно активных пользователей. YouTube в HMS Huawei заменила на французский видеосервис Dailymotion, с января 2017 г. навечно заблокированный на территории России.

В середине сентября 2020 г. Huawei показала Harmony OS 2.0 – второе поколение своей операционной системы. Она по-прежнему может работать на самых разных устройствах, в том числе на бытовой технике, и на этот раз в список поддерживаемых гаджетов были добавлены и смартфоны.

Распространение системы, как сообщал CNews, началось в декабре 2020 г. Устройства на ее основе доступны и в российской рознице – на Harmony OS 2.0 работают, к примеру, смарт-ТВ Huawei Vision S, вышедшие в июне 2021 г.

I have an older Harmony remote and need its software

Some of our older remotes, such as Harmony One, 880, 900, 1000, and 1100, use the Logitech Harmony Remote Software v7.x to add devices and get everything set up (see list). You can also use the software to make configuration changes in the future. Harmony One, 600, 650 and 700 remote users may upgrade to MyHarmony if they previously used remote software 7.x to set up their remote.

If you are using our legacy software, Logitech Harmony Remote Software, there will be a delay in having it supported on macOS 11.0 Big Sur. We recommend holding off on upgrading to macOS 11.0 Big Sur if you need to access your remote’s account. You can continue accessing your Logitech Harmony Remote Software account by using a Windows computer or a mac computer running macOS 10.15 or lower.

Important Notice for macOS 10.15 Catalina

Installing Logitech Harmony Remote Software on macOS 10.15 Catalina will require an additional driver during installation. When prompted, you will be guided to your System Preferences to do so. This driver is required for Harmony 900, 1000, and 1100.

You will also receive a prompt about keystrokes. It is not necessary to grant access for this. Logitech Harmony Remote legacy software uses the JavaFX engine, one feature of the engine is to receive keystrokes, we do not use this feature.

If you are using our legacy software, Logitech Harmony Remote Software, there will be a delay in having it supported on macOS 11.0 Big Sur. We recommend holding off on upgrading to macOS 11.0 Big Sur if you need to access your remote’s account. You can continue accessing your Logitech Harmony Remote Software account by using a Windows computer or a mac computer running macOS 10.15 or lower.

Both the My Harmony desktop software and Harmony remote software v7.x will notify and direct you to the correct software for your remote if you install the wrong one by mistake.

I’m looking for the sign-in page

Harmony has moved away from a website application and now uses either the MyHarmony desktop software and/or Harmony mobile app, depending on your remote. The website login has been phased out.

This was done to eliminate issues related to browser plug-in issues and increasing browser security policies. All existing account information still exists and is accessible by downloading and signing in to the new software.

Why do I need this software?

Before your Harmony is able to control your home entertainment system it must first be configured with information about your specific television, stereo, and other equipment. Harmony software ensures you have the latest information from our device database — a database we add to and improve daily.

How does macOS 11.0 Big Sur impact Harmony?

If you are using Harmony Desktop App on macOS 10.15 Catalina, you should have no problems with upgrading to macOS Big Sur.

If you are on macOS 10.14 or below and plan to upgrade to macOS Big Sur, you will not be able to use MyHarmony any longer because it is a 32 bit application that is not compatible with the latest versions of macOS. You will have to download and use Harmony Desktop App. Please note that Harmony Desktop App does not support Hub based remotes. If you have a Hub based remote, you will need to download the Harmony mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

To download the correct app, please visit https://support.myharmony.com/download. The website will detect your computer’s operating system and provide you the correct version of the application.

4. Third-Party Software. There may be software programs or interfaces (“Third Party Software”) contained within the Software that have been licensed to Logitech by third parties. The same terms and conditions, including all limitations and restrictions, set forth in this Agreement apply to the Third-Party Software. You acknowledge and agree that any such Third Party Software is owned by the applicable licensor. Logitech does not make any representations or warranties about the operation or availability of such Third Party Software. Neither Logitech nor its licensors shall be liable for any unavailability or removal of such Third Party Software. Logitech is not responsible for any communications to or from such licensors, or for the collection or use of information by such licensors. You consent to the communications enabled and/or performed by such Third Party Software, including automatic updating of the Third-Party Software without further notice. You agree that such Third Party Software licensors are intended third-party beneficiaries under this Agreement.

5. Termination. This agreement is effective until terminated. Either party may terminate this agreement for any reason at any time. Your right to use the Software will automatically terminate without notice from Logitech if you violate any terms of this agreement. Upon termination of this agreement, you must stop using the Software and destroy any copies of the Software in your possession or control. The provisions of paragraphs 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 shall survive expiration or termination of this agreement.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY. 8. U.S. Government End Users. The Software is a «Commercial Item», as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. 2.101, consisting of «Commercial Computer Software» and «Commercial Computer Software Documentation,» and is being licensed to U.S. Government end users (a) only as Commercial Items, and (b) with only those rights as are granted to all other end users pursuant to the terms and conditions of this agreement. Unpublished-rights reserved under the copyright laws of the United States.

9. Export Law Assurances. You agree that you may not export or re-export the Software in violation of any applicable laws or regulations including without limitation those of the United States of America, the European Union, Switzerland and/or the laws or regulation of the jurisdiction(s) in which the Software was obtained.

10. Agents and Third Party Purchasers. If you are acquiring the Software on behalf of another person or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind the party or entity for which you are acquiring the Software to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

11. Controlling Law and Severability. If you are in the U.S.A., this agreement will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to or application of its choice of law rules or principles. If you reside outside the U.S.A., this agreement will be exclusively governed by the laws of Switzerland. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of this agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the agreement will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this agreement will continue in full force and effect.

12. Complete Agreement; Governing Language. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the use of the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, communications or agreements, written or oral, regarding such subject matter. No amendment to or modification of this agreement will be binding unless in writing and signed by Logitech. Any translation of this agreement is done for local requirements and in the event of a dispute between the English and any non-English version, the English version of this agreement will govern.

13. Open Source Software. Certain portions of the Software are not licensed under the terms of this agreement but are instead licensed under the terms of applicable open source licenses («Open Source Components»). The Open Source Components applicable to the Software, and associated applicable licenses, are listed at https://opensource.logitech.com. Your use of each Open Source Component is subject to the terms of each applicable license. You must agree to the terms of each such applicable license, or you should not use the Software.

14. Updates. Logitech may from time to time provide bug fixes, updates, upgrades and other modifications to the Software (“Updates”). Logitech shall have no obligation to provide updates or support for the Software. However, the Updates may be automatically installed without providing any additional notice or receiving any additional consent. The terms of this Software License Agreement will govern any Updates. If you do not want such Updates, your remedy is to stop using the Software. Logitech may, for any reason at any time, terminate any such Updates. Logitech and its subsidiaries and agents may collect, maintain, process and use diagnostic, technical and related information, including but not limited to information about your Logitech product, computer, system and application software, peripherals and other related devices, that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of updates, product support, and other services to you (if any) related to the Software, and to verify compliance with the terms of this agreement. Logitech may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve our products or to provide services to you.

The Software is protected by United States copyright law and international treaty. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of the Software is subject to civil and criminal penalties.
