Everything working fine on ranger vii although would still like to see AI Suite 3 available for download under the windows 10 drivers tab,
Seen others say it works fine under compatibility mode but still would be nice to have a definite answer by putting it under windows 10 to say yep its been tested and works as it should.

Sounds like I’m waiting a few months for stuff to settle. Non-working DTS/Dolby (I rely on DTS Connect to get 5.1 audio out from games etc. to my receiver over optical cable), no wireless LAN drivers yet, and Saitek stuff causing restarts (not to mention they have no Win10 drivers/software yet either).

I have installed Win 10 on my M7H and I’m able to install all the drivers except for IRST 14.5
14.5 is the latest version on Asus Support page and on Intel official website.
I can install the driver via Device manager by updating the driver, but once I have installed the IRST software, my system will freeze.
While it’s froze, music keeps playing normally, and I can move my mouse and click on icons, but there won’t be any responses.
You probably should consider a clean install of 10 now that additional updates have been released. My upgraded 8.1 to 10 system is running okay but I wan to perform a clean install of 10 later on to remove any residual effects of 8.1 from the registry.
I allowed the auto upgrade. Did not like it. Really slowed my system down. When I went back to Win 8.1, many of my programs did not work right.
Definitely does not appear to be the best upgrade choice I have made.

I have done a clean install of Windows 10 by using parted magic to wipe drive, then using win 10 to clean drive then create a formatted primary partition. Then installed win 10. This does away with the (methinks it a 200 mb) unnecessary partition. Also this was a GPT (UEFI) disk install. I usually just do a regular bios (MBR) install. From than stand point I may redo it back to a regular bios (MBR) install because I don’t have a 2TB drive or larger.
All seems well, I did have a few minor problems but nothing to write home about.
But I am really liking Windows 10 so far.
G/L all and clean install.

Appreciate any feedback.

I’ve used it with Windows 10, no issues but went back to Windows 7 due to issues with SLI.
Does anyone has experience with installing win 10 on this tablet, or can tell me will it run as it should on my tablet?
I was thinking to install Windows 10 on my tablet Encore WT8-A-102. But not sure is it the right choice 😀

I realize the inconvenience you are facing. Let me help you in resolving the issue.
I appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better.
Have you checked the specifications for Windows 10?
Start by checking the Windows 10 system requirements:
Some PC processors and hardware configurations aren’t supported by Technical Preview, including a small number of older, 64-bit CPUs, and some 32 GB and all 16 GB devices running a compressed operating system.
If does not have a compressed installation of Windows with limited storage, then, it is not recommended you install Windows 10 at this time.
I suggest you to refer to the following Wiki Article created by Andre Da Costa on January 22,2015 and check if this helps:
I also suggest you to refer the link below and check if that helps:

Make sure you back it up first:
When making significant changes to your computer such as updating the operating system, you should always backup. See links to resources about backing up by clicking the link for the respective version of Windows you are running: Windows XP , Windows Vista , Windows 7 , Windows 8/8.1

Thank you for your answer 🙂
I checked system requirements. Win 8.1 has the same requirements, so I’m guessing that will not be the problem.
I’m not sure I understand what is Compressed installation of Windows, how can I check that?

Open File Explorer on the Taskbar
Right click the system drive where Windows 8.1 is presently installed
Under the General tab uncheck compress this drive to save disk space.
Click Apply then ok

On my tablet ‘compress this drive to save disk space’ was unchecked already.
Does that mean it is not good thing to install Win 10 or i can try with your guide for »How to Install Windows 10 on Devices with Limited Space ?»

Hi. I have some really depressing problems with update to windows 10 on my friend’s Toshiba tablet. First we restored windows 8.1, and managed to free up some storage which windows 10 demanded. We ended up with 16.4GB of free storage. Note that the this tablet’s internal storage is 32GB. There are no installed application, no games nor any data except windows 8.1. So the problems occurs when windows 10 updater starts and checks all compatibility, which are all OK, we are prompted to try again because there are not enough disk space. The tablet model is Toshiba Encore WT8-b-102.
P.S. This problem needs to be solved as soon as possible, due to windows 10 free upgrade timer countdown.
All best, Dragan.

I apologize for not addressing you in a timely manner. Let me help you in resolving the issue.
I would like to inform you that Windows created the low disk space warning to alert computer users when their hard drive is running low on available disk space.
If the warning refers to some other disk drive, such as the D: or E: drive, then probably you can safely ignore this warning. You still might want to explore those drives to clean up unwanted files or programs, but it won’t cause any serious problems, expect perhaps that you’ll run out of space to store new files on that drive.
To clean up unwanted files or programs:
If you want to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run faster, use Disk Cleanup. It removes temporary files, empties the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of system files and other items that you no longer need.
For more information, refer the below link:
Hope the information helps. Keep us posted on Windows related queries and we will be happy to assist you further.
