Установка и настройка принтера PC42t

Включите принтер и выполните сброс на заводские настройки. При мигании индикатора зеленым цветом нажмите кнопку и удерживайте ее до момента выключения индикатора (при включении индикатор сначала один раз засветится, а потом начинает непрерывно мигать).

При мигании красным закройте печатающий механизм. После этого индикатор постоянно горит зеленым.

Калибровка

Если при калибровке принтер не определяет наличие риббона (красящей ленты), то он автоматически переходит в режим прямой термопечати.

  • Для калибровки принтера необходимо нажать в течение 2х секунд кнопку протяжки для калибровки этикетки.
  • Установите Windows-драйвер. Скачайте файл InterDriver 7.4.2 M-0. Важно использовать драйвер именно этой версии, созданной для принтера PC42t.
  • Подключать принтер к ПК по USB-кабелю нужно в тот момент, когда установщик попросит подсоединить USB-кабель принтера.

Настройка драйвера

  • Откройте на ПК «Устройства и принтеры» (если ОС Windows XP, то «Принтеры и факсы»).
  • Найдите драйвер «Honeywell PC42t (203dpi) –DP» и выберите пункт «Настройка печати».
  • На вкладке «Параметры страницы» нажмите кнопку «Изменить» и укажите размеры используемой вами этикетки. После этого нажмите кнопку отправки этикетки на печать и выберите из списка принтеров ранее настроенный драйвер «Honeywell PC42t (203dpi) – DP».

Причины, по которым принтер не определяет установленный риббон (красящую ленту): внутренний диаметр втулки красящей ленты имеет немного шире пластиковых адаптеров для риббона, входящих в комплект с принтером. Риббон прокручивается на адаптере. Для исправления нужно отогнуть металлические вставки на адаптере и сделать их более выпуклыми.
