House Flipper is a simulation game that was developed by Empyrean and published by PlayWay S.A.. It was released on May 17, 2018.
Gameplay involves fixing up properties in order to create a profit. Tasks that can be performed include painting, laying down tile, cleaning, installations, and demolition. Players can fix and personalize their own homes, fix houses in quests and buy houses to fix and sell.
House Flipper received «mixed or average reviews» according to review aggregator Metacritic, with multiple reviewers commenting that fixing up the homes is satisfying while questioning its long-term playability.
Kotaku reviewed the game, stating that they found it satisfying to fix up homes that are «often extremely gross or ugly» and that «Manifesting your vision of a decent, sellable house onto these garbage heaps feels amazing—especially because it happens on such a granular scale.» Game Informer was more mixed, writing that «Flipping your first few houses is fun, but the game doesn’t have the scope or flexibility to stay interesting for long».
PC Gamer was critical, stating that «There’s a definite satisfaction in taking a gross room and making it look nice, and it’s pretty cool that you can knock down (and rebuild) walls, but I just don’t find the act of slowly and mechanically painting and cleaning much fun, especially with the knowledge that my actual house could do with a bit of that.» It became a bestseller on Steam.
The game was nominated for «Game, Simulation» at the National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers Awards. House Flipper was also awarded Poznań Game Arena Best Polish Indie Game of 2018.
Together with the base game, on May 17, 2018, a free Apocalypse Flipper DLC was released. The player receives more items and 5 new properties that can be bought.
On May 16, 2019, the Garden Flipper DLC was released. This allows the player to apply renovations to the gardens of properties. The player can then participate in the garden competitions where their work will be evaluated and given a score. The property can then be sold at a higher price depending on the score that was achieved.
On May 14, 2020, the HGTV DLC was released. This DLC features new jobs, items, gameplay-mechanics and properties that can be bought. The latter requires the player to first complete the corresponding jobs.

Sice mam «len» MacBook Pro 15, 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, grafika Intel Iris Pro 1536.. Hra seka aj na minimalnych nastaveniach. Zial nehratelne :/
I cant even get past the rubbish outside my office door.
Movement is awful, it either lags, you can’t control it or spins so fast it hurts you’re eyes and gives you a headache.
When trying to click on a bin bag you have to click 10-15 times till you hear a soft click, its took so long i just quit.
I hope its just a bug when played on a laptop because it means they can fix it. I really was looking forward to this game coming out and now im just sad and annoyed!
Edit: have put it on all the lowest settings and it looks awful but it does run, badly but its going. I can’t get higher than 14 — 11 fps so god help me when i get to bigger jobs.
It is registaring my clicks now so i have been able to progress in the game.
Placing things is still an issue as it always over or under shoots and my hand hurts from holding the mouse so still and trying to make teeny tiny movements to get thing in place.
Also im sure im missing dirt due to how crappy i have to have the graphics, the differance is very noticable. I’m cleaning every inch of rooms and the things in them (behind, on top, ceilings etc) and im getting 96% on a room every now and then 🙁
I have figured out that sometimes you need to leave a room and come back in to get it to register at 100% clean which is a little annoying.
The game premise is good and i can see it being tonnes of fun if running well, so i just hope they make it able to run better on a mac laptop as other mac users seem to have similar issues.
