actually i need access remote desktop to a server which is windows server 2012 r2 standerd ,there is i created so many windows users around 20 to 25 users. But i can access only two users through remote desktop from my client system.i need to access more users through remotely.I think cal its needed.can you give the solution deeply about this.RAM 32 GB,PROCESSOR INTEL XEON

Windows system allow max of 2 simultaneous connections, if you want to allow more that 2 sessions, RDS(Remote Desktop Services) are necessary.

You can use Quick Start wizard to deploy RDS if there is one system and only configured to internal remote desktop connections:
Server Manager – Dashboard – Add roles and features – Next – select Remote Desktop Services installing and click Next – select Quick Start and click Next — select Session-based desktop deployment and click Next.

Follow the wizard to complete the RDS installation. And you can reference below article for detail steps.

There is a grace period of 120 days before a valid CAL must be available from a licensing server. Before the expiration of 120 days, you need to add RD Licensing server role and purchase/install available RDS CALs on your licensing server.

I’ve purchased a brand new Dell PowerEdge T340 server, loaded with RAM, RAID 5 SSD drives. I want to allow my local users to remotely connect (RDS). Only 2 users can connect at the same time. I’ve paid for 20 CALS , I do not understand why am I limited to only 2 users at the same time to be connected from LAN to the server. When I try to connect a 3rd user I am getting a message saying «SELECT A USER TO DISCONNECT SO THT YOU CAN SIGN IN. There are too many users signed in» I only have 2 users signed in, we paid for 20 CALS, why am i limited to only 2 users then ? We only have 1 server on the network. Possibly 5 maybe 6 users maybe accessing the server at the same time occasionally from a local network.

Please let me know the easiest solution to fix this issue on a single server.

Remote Desktop Service should be deployed in order to provide more than two simultaneous sessions.

We can deploy RDS on single server, need to install below server roles:
1. RD Session Host –> it is the “remote destination” server, the server which holds the desktop and application resources for remote users.
2. RD Licensing server –> install and manage your RDS CALs.

If there is only one server for RDS, then, RD Connection Broker is not necessary, however, it provides you the GUI to manage your RDS deployment, it is recommended to be installed.

Besides, detail steps to configure RD Licensing server in order to assign RDS CALs to remote request:
1. Install RD Licensing server role.
2. Open RD Licensing Manager, active the Licensing server.
3. Install RDS CALs via RD Licensing Manager.
4. Using Connection Broker, or Group Policy(if RD CB is not installed), to specific RD Licensing server and Licensing mode for your session host server.

So, below are two deployment suggestions.

1> RD SH + RD Licensing server.

Thank You VERY much for your prompt reply and kind support and I am sorry for the late reply, I was traveling out of the country.

I’ve read all the articles and frankly I am confused a bit. I only have 1 windows 2019 server on my local network where we host our CORPORATE application that everyone uses while inside of the office on our local LAN. Everything works great whoever when users go home, they login to our LAN using VPN, all works great however when we do a remote desktop connection to the server we can only have 2 users logged in at the very same time to the main server 192.168.1.4. What i want to do is i want to enable more than just 2 users option so that for example 4 users can be remotely logged in to this server using RDS and access server resources. We have a very simple network setup, this is 1 STAND ALONE STANDARD 2019 server.

This server has 20 CALS purchased. We run a VPN for remote users to login to our office when someone decides to work from home they need to be able to access this server for files sharing etc. I want multiple users to be able to access this server and open REMOTE DESKTOP connection at the same time. As of right now only 2 users can be logged in at the very same time. What is the EASIEST and quickest way to set this up ?

Что означает there is/there are

Оборот «there» + «be» переводится, начиная с обстоятельства места, которое обычно находится в конце предложения:

There is a cat in the box.

Если обстоятельства места нет, то при переводе предложение начинается со слов «есть», «имеется», «существует», «бывает», «находится» и т. п. В принципе зачастую «there is/ there are» и вовсе не переводится. Такой вот
«невидимый», но крайне необходимый оборот.

Когда употребляется there is и there are

«There is» и «there are» используют, когда хотят сказать, что что-то существует (не существует) или находится (не находится) в конкретном месте.

«There is» указывает на наличие в определенном месте какого-то одного предмета (лица). Также используется с неопределенными подлежащими (это когда используется неопределенный артикль («a», «an»), когда артикля нет, или используются слова «some», «any», «no»), и с неопределенными местоимениями как «somebody», «nothing».

Краткий отрицательный ответ состоит из слова «no», за которым следуют «there» и глагол «to be» в соответствующей форме с отрицательной частицей «not»:

Is there a dog in the supermarket? — No, there isn’t.

There were fire-breathing dragons in the streets. (Past Simple)
I think there’ll be loads of people at the festival. (Future Simple)
There haven’t been many entries for the competition. (Present Perfect)

By the time he hopes that there will have been fuller consultation with the human rights bodies. (Future Perfect Continuous).

Разница между there is/there are и it/they

Конструкции «there is» и «there are» используются только по отношению к новой информации. Если что-либо уже упоминалось в контексте, то тогда следует употреблять «it is» или «they are».
