The speed of this printer is much more than you would have ever seen in a LaserJet printer with up to 26 ppm. The instant-on technology reduces the print time for the first page at 7 seconds.

With the plug and play support, you can start printing in as little as two minutes opposed to the time-consuming method of the past. Networking connection is also simple as you need to connect the cables and launch the installation media. Aside from this multipurpose tray, there are no options for increasing the tray capacity. Some other printers like Samsung ML-2851ND and Brother HL-5340D come with optional paper trays to raise the tray capacity. With the HP’s Auto-On/Auto-Off mode, you can save lots on electricity bills as it only consumes 2.2 W on standby. But when it becomes active, it churns off 440 W.

The optimum operating temperature range is from 17.5°C – 25°C. The optimum humidity should be between 30% and 70%. It has a monthly duty cycle of 8000 sheets at a breakneck speed of 25 ppm. No doubt, hp p1606dn is a superb printer for printing textual content. But when it comes to printing graphics, this isn’t much help. As a monochrome laser printer, it offers poor or subpar graphics prints. While printing graphics, you will find graininess and dithering that is barely a match for a poor quality newspaper photo. Moreover, even when it is only suitable for printing texts.
