Unlike your high-school language teacher, Style Check doesn’t actually tell you what is right. It grays out superfluous words and just strikes them through hypothetically, so at the end of the day you can see how your text will flow with them removed. A double tap/click on a struck through word or phrase will so to say select it for easy removal. It’s completely up to you which ones you remove and which ones you effectively keep. |

У него простой интерфейс, полная поддержка маркдауна. В нём удобно фокусироваться на тексте.

Как я работаю

Пишу и храню статьи в txt. Когда пишу, проставляю не только названия разделов, но и прописываю в комментариях о чём буду писать. Так как особого тега комментария в маркдауне нет, то использую хтмл . Чтобы каждый раз не вводить, прописал в автозамене. Ввожу кком , который заменяется тегом комментария.

В IA Writer есть своя автозамена: метаданные.

Они прописываются перед заголовком. Сначала указываете ключ, к которому будете обращаться. Обязательно на английском. Дальше через двоеточие указываете данные, которые будут вставляться. Author: Антон Маслак .

Для использования подстановки, напишите в квадратных скобках знак процента и название ключа. [%Key] . В панели просмотра вместо этого будут выведены данные. В качестве данных можно использовать не только отдельные слова и фразы, но и объёмные тексты.

Ratings and Reviews

Hard to describe .

If you enjoy writing for its own sake, you may fall in love with this app. It is awfully close to the old feeling of writing on a typewriter (and I did a lot of that before personal computers came along, so I know what I’m talking about). And in fact, iA Writer even has a typewriter “focus” mode.

The guys at iA are design experts. Check out their site and blog(ia.net). The articles are interesting. These people are OBSESSED with typography and how it affects our work.

Consequently they designed a Markdown editor that is like nothing else. They give you a single wonderful font (that they custom designed) and greatly restrict all the other options. This is not Word. There is almost nothing to tinker with. Just get to work.

I also use Ulysses for bigger projects and to organize tons of notes. And FoldingText for outlining in Markdown. And recently Bear for other Markdown notes (yeah I love Markdown*). But when I need to write for work or pleasure, the text often starts in iA Writer.

*The whole point of MD is that you can do formatting on the fly—your hands rarely need to leave the keyboard. Just like on a typewriter. If you haven’t tried Markdown, download any of the free editors available and give it a try. It takes about three minutes to learn the basics.

Best writing app ever

I’ve used iA for ages, it’s my go-to for writing articles and even books, my todo list, my note taker, and I even I use for interviews, in dark mode, so I can refer to notes without a LIGHT page on my screen reflecting in my glasses on video.

Cosa scrivere di iA Writer? In primo luogo bisogna assolutamente apprezzare quest’app poiché, a differenza di tante alte, ha scelto di non adottare la soluzione dell’abbonamento che risulta sempre essere più che onerosa.
Nonostante siano trascorsi tanti anni dalla prima release, gli sviluppatori continuano ad aggiornare l’app che resta assolutamente impeccabile su tutti i devices Apple e possiede tutte le funzioni per una scrittura semplice, veloce e senza distrazioni.

Mancano alcune funzioni

L’applicazione è ottima ma mancano alcune funzioni presenti nella versione per Windows come la possibilità di comprimere i capitoli e l’indice integrato nella Libreria.
Ho inoltre riscontrato dei problemi nell’esportazione in PDF dei documenti: servirebbe una funzione che impedisca di separare un titlo dal paragrafo che segue perché capita spesso che i titoli si ritrovino a fine pagina e che il paragrafo inizi nella pagina dopo. Spero riusciate a sistemare questo problema perché questa è la mia applicazione di riferimento per quando ho bisogno di scrivere appunti o altro!

I miglioramenti del profilo che abbiamo in Windows sono programmati anche per il Mac. E viceversa. Diverse piattaforme hanno diversi punti di forza, quindi, piuttosto che essere identiche, usiamo i punti di forza delle diverse piattaforme e portiamo le innovazioni di successo ad altre piattaforme.
