‘Get IP Address Automatically’: If you would like to obtain an IP address automatically from DHCP server, this option should help provided the router is DHCP server enabled.

‘Use Next IP Address’: If you would like to manually assign a fixed IP address, select this option and key in information such as

• Default Gateway

IPv6 Settings :

IPv6 Settings are open for modification subject to Infrastructure chosen as Network Type. Besides that, ensure USB is not selected on the Protocol Settings toolbar menu.

‘Use IPv6 address’ : If you choose to operate the printer in IPv6 mode, then let this option be selected.

Ensure the option ‘Use Stateless Address’ is selected for all auto assigned IP address. The wireless router must be IPv6 compatible.

For a manual or fixed IP address fixation, choose this option ‘Use Manual address’. Key in necessary information such as IP address/Prefix Length.

DHCPv6 must be chosen as a natural option if an IP address is dynamically assigned using DHCPv6.

Click on Set right at the end.
