What is the Intel® Processor Identification Utility?

This utility reports information about the Intel® Processor, such as the name and the number of the Intel® processor and Intel® HD Graphics if supported by the processor.

The utility enables you also to check the processor information such as frequency, technologies, and CPUID data and save the information.

The utility has three sections: Processor Frequency, CPU Technologies, and CPUID

Here is an example:

What is the information reported under PROCESSOR FREQUENCY tab?

• Reported and expected frequencies
• Cache information
• Number of cores and threads
