Every time I start my computer I get this error in the Event Viewer.

«Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards.

Please may someone help me know what causes this and how to solve it?

It looks like you are getting an error message after booting the computer “ Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards ”.

Let’s perform few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

1. Are you aware of making any changes to the computer prior to the issue?

2. When do you get this error message?

As per the problem description, it seems your user profile is corrupted. Please run SFC (System File Checker) scan and verify if there’s any corruption find in system files. If there’s none, you can try Method 2 to fix a corrupted user profile.

Event ID 1530 is logged as a Warning event. The application that is listed in the event detail is leaving the registry handle open and should be investigated.

Method 1:

Step 1: You may close all the applications before rebooting the computer and check.

Step 2: Place the computer in clean boot and check for the issue.

How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

Note: Once you are done with clean boot, please follow the section ‘How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot’ under ‘more information’ in the article to put your computer back to normal startup.

Method 2: Perform SFC Scan

Please follow the steps to perform SFC Scan:

a. Press “Windows Key + Q” to open Charms Bar.

b. Type “cmd” without quotes in the search box.

c. On the left pane, right click on the “cmd” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

d. Type ‘sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter.

Method 3: Create a new user account and check if the issue persists.

a. Press the “Windows Key + i”

b. Click More PC Settings

c. On the left, click Users

d. Click “Add a User”, and follow the onscreen instructions to create a new user account.

I’ve that same error always. If I don’t restart for many hours it doesn’t show.

I’ve reinstalled windows every way I could think of.. event id 1530 to the uninstall is always there.. any and every user account, shows in the Administrator account, guest account too. Since dec 14 when I first bought the upgrade I’ve tried and tried and searched and searched.

svchost pid hidserv; Seems to have something to do with a hid* server. . *Human Interface Device.

Best guess on the threads from looking at Process Explorer, Describes it as something to do with; predefined hot buttons on keyboards, remote controls, and other multi-media devices.

I’m on a Lenovo laptop i3 HM65 sandy bridge chipset

I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to provide further details from my experience with this issue in case anyone is interested.

Computer: Dell XPS 8500

OS: Windows 8 64-bit Workgroup Computer

After resetting my computer, before installing any software, the first thing I did was check the event viewer, which showed one 1530 event warning. The only things on my computer at that time were Windows 8 programs and my device drivers, since I did a thorough reset which took several hours.

I have run the SFC scan with negative results.

I started the computer in Safe Mode but the error was still there.

I ran a Pre-Boot System Assessment (thorough) to check for hardware issues. None found.

I have noticed some problems that may or may not involve the 1530 issue. Before reinstalling each non Microsoft program, I configured System Restore and created restore points along the way and checked the event viewer each time. Still only one 1530 event, though the registry keys varied. At one point, I checked system restore and all restore points were gone and the setting for hard disk space allocated for system restore was reset to zero from the 5% I originally set. Also, along the way, I installed Microsoft automatic updates but there were no automatic restore points created for the updates.

Another Microsoft feature, defrag, did not initiate when I clicked the link in Control Panel until I rebooted. Then it worked.

Since I encountered the above problems on a complete reset, I wonder if it has anything to do with the 1530 error. I have read various assessments that say it may not be anything to be concerned about but in the description of the event it states «The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards.» That seems to have been my experience. Maybe there’s another explanation I don’t know about since I am not technically oriented.

Помогите разобраться с предупреждением. Иногда использую CCleaner и прога тоже выдает эту ошибку и принимает решение удалить (исправить) но она потом может появиться снова.

Это событие можно игнорировать. Чтоб оно перестало появляться не запускайте FBAgent.exe (похоже одна из утилит от АСУС которую можно убрать без всяких последствий.

Еще одна рекомендация — смотрите события только если для этого есть веская причина вроде крашей. Иначе в процессе «устранить» все «сообщения» скорее всего сломайте ОС.

Да еще допишу. Если Вы имеете ввиду отключить службу FBAgent.exe-то при перезагрузке компа она опять оказывается запущенной. А кроме того файла, что выгружается есть еще три ( процесс 1324 ) что-то там с Эксплорером. А вот с этим я точно не пойму к чему это? Что за динамические библиотеки? Из какой это оперы? Видеокарта? Драйвера? или прочее? Подскажите! Посмотрел на форуме-кто чего объясняет.

Насколько понял из описания проблемы, у вас ноутбук от Асуса?

Если у вас ноутбук, то рекомендую обратиться в техподдержку Асуса, так как у вас сбой приложения.

А в техподдержке своего ноутбука, вы сможете скачать исправную версию этого агента.

Либо, установите в «отчёты о проблемах и их решениях», автоматическую отправку и поставьте флажок на участие в программе улучшения поддержки пользователей, и спустя какое-то время, Майкрософт пришлёт решение вашей проблемы. 🙂

Так у меня, на ноутбуке Асус, была решена проблема с агентом обновления Асус, после обновления платформы Windows.

Вы зря использовали оптимизатор CCleaner, который только навредил вашей системе, и может быть настолько, что придётся переустанавливать до заводских параметров.

Windows самодостаточная система, и всё, что нужно, в ней можно сделать с помощью её средств, или средств программ и утилит от Майкрософт.

После восстановления до заводских параметров, и установки утилит и служебных программ от Асуса, если есть сопроводительный диск то с него, а нет, то с сайта поддержки Асуса.

Всё, что есть на сопроводительном диске (или на сайте поддержки Асуса), — утилиты и служебные программы, необходимы ноутбуку для стабильной работы системы на железе ноутбука.

Если их удалять или не устанавливать, то система не сможет стабильно работать.

Так что, рекомендую переустанавливать систему до заводских параметров, и переустанавливать всё лицензионное программное обеспечение, но ни в коем случае не устанавливать всякие бесплатные чистильщики и оптимизаторы из интернета, которые, как и бесплатный сыр, бывает «хорошим» только в мышеловке.

Вы не первый и увы не последний, кого подкупила реклама бесплатных чистильщиков и оптимизаторов Windows.

К сожалению, на сайте Community, поддержки для домашних пользователей, очень много тем, где пользователям, после использования таких оптимизаторов и чистильщиков, очень часто приходится обращаться в сервис-центры производителей, так как самостоятельно, они уже не в состоянии восстановить систему, из-за отсутствия дисков, или скрытых разделов Recovery.
