Установка Hikvision iVMS-4200 на Linux Ubuntu

Программа iVMS-4200 преназначена для просмотра видео с видеокамер, а также управления как самими камерами, так и видеорегистраторами. Ее установка не вызывает никаких проблем на компьютер с Windows или Mac OS, однако установка на Linux потребует дополнительных манипуляций. Разберем процесс подробнее на примере установки на Ubuntu Desktop 18.04.

Установка iVMS-4200 и необходимых компонентов

Установку программы будем выполнять с помощью командной строки linux.

Загрузка и распаковка

Скачиваем программу с официального сайта командой:

Распаковываем скачанный архив zip:

Переходим в распакованный каталог:

cd Hikvision\ iVMS-4200\ \(Linux\)/

В нем мы увидим архив tar.gz — распаковываем и его:

tar zxvf iVMS4200-Linux.tar.gz

Полученный каталог Linux переименовываем и переносим в папку /opt:

mv Linux /opt/iVMS

Готово. Наша программа находится в /opt/iVMS.

Установка зависимостей

Чтобы программа могла запуститься на Linux, необходимы дополнительные библиотеки. Их список можно получить командой:

Если мы увидим не список, а сообщение:

не является динамическим исполняемым файлом

apt-get install libc6-i386

* обратите внимание, что мы ставим пакеты x32, так как приложение iVMS 32-х битное.

После проверяем список зависимости снова:

1. Настройка ldconfig

Часть библиотек находится в каталоге /opt/iVMS/PlugIns. Необходимо его добавить в ldconfig. Для этого создаем файл:

* если в нашей системе не будет данного каталога, мы получим ошибку. Тогда открываем на редактирование файл /etc/ld.so.conf.

Добавляем в него строку:

Смотрим недостающие библиотеки:

ldd /opt/iVMS/iVMS-4200 | grep «not found»

2. libstdc++.so.6

Для получения данной библиотеки скачиваем пакет:

И пробуем его установить командой:

dpkg -i libstdc++6_8.4.0-1ubuntu1

Если мы получим сообщение об ошибке зависимостей, то выполняем:

apt-get install -f

dpkg -i libstdc++6_8.4.0-1ubuntu1

Проверяем, что библиотека стала доступной:

ldd /opt/iVMS/iVMS-4200 | grep «not found»

* возможно, станут доступными несколько библиотек, а не только libstdc++.so.6.

3. libuuid.so.1

apt-get install libuuid1:i386

Проверяем, что библиотека стала доступной:

ldd /opt/iVMS/iVMS-4200 | grep «not found»

4. libGL.so.1

Для данной библиотеки установим:

apt-get install libgl1-mesa-dev:i386

Проверим, что это помогло:

ldd /opt/iVMS/iVMS-4200 | grep «not found»

* список должен стать еще меньше.

5. libGLU.so.1

apt-get install libglu1-mesa-dev:i386

ldd /opt/iVMS/iVMS-4200 | grep «not found»

. должна вернуть пустой ответ.

Запуск iVMS-4200

Настройка прав

При первом запуске программе необходимо создать базу данных. Для этого необходимы права пользователю, из под которого планируется выполнять запуск программы. Мы можем поступить 2 способами:

а) задать в качестве владельца каталога с программой нужного нам пользователя:

chown -R user:user /opt/iVMS

* где user:user — соответственно пользователь и группа владелец.

б) или дать полные права на каталог:

chmod -R 777 /opt/iVMS

Запуск

Можно попробовать запустить программу из командной строки:

iVMS-4200: cannot connect to X server

. значит, программа запустилась, но ей нужна графическая оболочка.

Также, программу можно запустить в графическом интерфейсе. Для этого просто переходим в каталог с программой (в нашем примере, /opt/iVMS) и выполняем запуск двойным кликом по файлу iVMS-4200.

Система запросит создать пользователя — задаем логин и пароль.

Можно работать с программой.

How to install Hikvision camera Software (SADP tools & ivms4200 linux) on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver)

Hikvision camera software have been written to suit Windows environment .If you want to run those software on Ubuntu ,you have to first install Wine .But Wine is not included in the Ubuntu Software center in Ubuntu 18.04.The Synaptic Package Manager is useful in installing most of the software that has not been included in the Ubuntu software center.

Open the terminal and run (or use Synaptic Package Manager)

sudo apt install wine64

Installing SAPD Tools

Download SADP tools from softpedia

Double click on the downloaded file to install SAPD tools (Only the SADPTool_V3.0.0.10 version woks with Ubuntu 18.04)

In the above penal you can see the ip camera in the local network has been detected by SADP automatically .

If you don’t have the device password of the camera, you can use SADP tools to reset it. In that case you will have to generate a QR code using the SADP as shown in the figure below and take a picture of the QR code and e- mail it to the closest technical division of the Hikvision company .

Then they will send you a xml file to be used in the SADP Tools to reset the device password.

Installing ivms4200 linux on Ubuntu 18.04

Latest ivms4200 is only compatible with MS Windows. There was a Linux beta version in Hikvision web site long ago. This software can be downloaded from this site https://upload.bkeesti.ee/Hikvision/Software/ ivms4200-Linux.tar.gz

Extract the file and go to Linux sub folder and double click on iVMS-4200 executable file

Note:- Please try my docker repository bkjaya1952/ docker-ivms4200-linux-new , which is very easy to install and use. First you will have to install docker in your system to use above repository.

don’t work in ubuntu 17.10 64 bits, previusly i instaled in ubuntu 16.04 32 bits and work fine, anyone has a comment about this?

Can you share the step how to install in ubuntu

Works on Ubuntu 18.04, though the CPU consumption is significant (this is also the case on the Android version though). No installation needed. Just extract and run the iVMS-4200 executable. It is a pity that hikvision does not officially provide a linux client and that no updates are to be expected.

Installed easily and worked perfectly in Linux Mint 17.3.
Now it won’t install in Linux Mint 19. The executable in the extracted folder will not execute.

Further to my post yesterday, I have now established that the problem is the iVMS-4200 file is 32 bit and my computer is 64 bit. 32 bit support was not automatically enabled in Linux Mint 19. I have enabled it now but there are issues with library links which I will have to resolve.

I had the same issue with library links. If you haven’t already worked it out, the quick solution is to install the ia32-libs package and it all come right.
