The new version of Vinyl comes with an updated GUI that aligns with the design trends from iZotope: it is simple and clean and Izotope says it cuts down on learning time so you can get right to crafting believable vintage effects. It now looks like the other iZotope plugins such as Ozone stereo imager or Vocal Doubler.

iZotope Vinyl — что это за плагин?

Как следует из названия, iZotope Vinyl — это VST плагин для моделирования винтажного винила, который добавляет такие звуковые эффекты как царапины, пыль, деформацию и механический шум к треку. Это для тех, кто хочет немного винтажного эффекта в своих проектах.

Благодаря отличному пользовательскому интерфейсу он позволяет имитировать оригинальные виниловые пластинки, радио, телевизоры или другую винтажную электронику в ваших звуковых дорожках. Если мы оглянемся назад в прошлое, то увидим, что актуальность виниловых пластинок встала под вопросом с тех пор, как был представлен аудио компакт-диск. Существуют различные плюсы и минусы каждого носителя записи, и винил не является исключением.

Для воспроизведение виниловых носителей используется аналоговое оборудование, которое не содержит ошибок квантования, как цифровые носители, что приводит к искажению цифроаналогового преобразования.
