Всем привет сегодня расскажу, как решается ошибка 8024200D при установке обновления KB2919355 в Windows Server 2012 R2. Данная ошибка у меня постоянно выскакивает на нормальной чистой винде в цоде hetzner. Дистрибутив я думаю нормальный, поднасрала опять MS, которая, что-то перемудрила с центром обновлений. Жалко, что приходится тратить свое драгоценное время, на такие детские вещи.

В просмотре событий валится вот такая вот ошибка

Первое, что советует Microsoft это попробовать запустить утилиту WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab, весит она 38 кб. Смысл ее в том что она проверяет все ли ок если нет то пытается это исправить.Как видим, мне она не помогла.

После нее пробую еще раз обновиться получаю такую вот ошибку, Код 80070002

Почитав форумы и тичнет нашлось несколько способов как якобы можно устранить данную ошибку, первый это с помощью DISM и более простой установить обновление KB2919355 вручную. Я выбрал второй вариант. Заходим на сайт MS и скачиваем обновление, оно весит 690 мб. Запускаем его.

Открываем потом центр обновления Windows-Установленные обновления и видим то злополучное обновление за номером KB2919355, которое успешно стоит.

а какую ошибку выдает при ручной установке и появляется ли какое либо сообщение в просмотре событий?

Иван здравствуйте. На нубуке стоит винда 7. Не устанавливает 5 обновлений. Пробовал как на примере, через Апдейт, он так же не решил одну ошибку(как на примере выше). Пробовал через автономный установщик, всплывает окно «данное обновление не применимо к этому компьютеру». Куда бежать? Чо делать?))

Our SCCM 2012 R2 primary site server is running Server 2012 R2. I’ve been trying to install updates through Windows Update, and Windows Server 2012 R2 Update (KB2919355) always appears in the list of available updates, even after apparently downloading and installing it and rebooting. No errors are apparent.

I’ve tried manually installing it, using the install instructions here:

No luck. No errors either. This server has WSUS, File Services, and IIS installed.

Please check if this update is installed in control panel.

Also, please check if there is any warning or error related to this update in the event viewer?

If this update is not installed, please make sure that KB 2919442 is installed on the server.

If it does not help then you can stop Windows Update service, remove the content of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and then start the service again.

The Update appears under Windows Update > View Update History as Status Succeeded. It does not appear under Programs and Features > Installed Updates.

KB2919442 is installed.

Looking through your link, I see none of the error codes in the Known Issues section that correspond to any entries in WindowsUpdate.log on the server. However, the WindowsUpdate.log file is persistently throwing two error codes every time I try to install via Windows Update:

WARNING: Failed to get Wu Exemption info from NLM, assuming not exempt, error = 0x80240037

Handler CBS called Error with 0x800f0816,

Also, in the last attempt at installing via Windows Update, I noted during the reboot sequence that Windows tries to install the update, fails, rolls back, then reboots normally.

So. I’m trying to get KB2919355 installed on a Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard machine. This server is going to be running QuickBooks 2017 database server. I can’t install QuickBooks 2017 at the moment because it requires .NET Framework 4.6, which is failing to install because it requires KB2919355, which is missing.

When I run Windows Update, it doesn’t even find KB2919355. I’ve installed all the other critical and optional updates that Windows Update finds, so at the moment, it’s caught up on updates (or so it says) and isn’t finding any new ones.

Things I’ve tried to do so far:

— I’ve downloaded and tried the standalone installer for KB2919355 from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42334 . The download page mentioned that I have to install the other 5 updates in that pack before installing KB2919355. Those other 5 updates all installed successfully with no problems. When I try to install KB2919355, I just get «This update is not applicable to your computer.»

— Ran sfc.exe from admin command prompt (it came back clean and found no problems).

— Tried Windows Update troubleshooter. It found some problems and fixed them. Running Windows Update again still doesn’t show me KB2919355, and trying to run the standalone installer still gives me the same «not applicable» error.

— Ran dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase from admin command prompt, rebooted, and tried running the standalone installer again, as suggested by someone else when I was Googling the problem. That didn’t help (I still just get «This update is not applicable» again).

There are no errors or even warnings in Event Viewer. It’s an HP server, and all the HP diagnostic tools are telling me the hardware is fine. All lights are green. As far as I can tell, the server is otherwise pretty healthy. I’m just being roadblocked from installing QuickBooks because of this KB2919355 problem.

One of the most common and known issue we all face and me too, while installing a new instance of TFS 2015 on Server 2012 R2. It simply throws error, more aptly a Windows Server 2012 R2 error – required KB2919355. You may have tried Windows Update automatic update with no result.

Well, I had the same dilemma while trying to install Team Foundation Server 2015 on Windows Server 2012 R2 Operating System before I found one Windows security Patch for Windows 8.1 (Windows8.1-KB2919355-x64) over internet along with few others on KB2919355.

Unfortunately while trying to install it , ended up watching “ This update is not compatible with Operating system “ GOSS….. Am I out of my mind, want to install a Security patch meant for Windows version 8.1 on Windows Server 2012 R2, simply because Microsoft said so. Nay …!! .

Microsoft must have a good reason for publishing it as this patch seems to have common impact on both operating systems module, yes it’s the IE, which required a fix on both operating systems for Installation of Visual Studio and TFS 2015 and may be similar products in the line.

Hence, while drilling down I came up with another Patch Windows8.1-KB2919442-x64, which allows our remediation Patch Windows8.1-KB2919355-x64 to get installed on Windows Server 2012 R2 and eventually TFS 2015 installation worked.

Lots of words. Right? Worth reading for fair understanding of the issue and its remediation. But the effort is quick and fruitful. The only trick is the Windows patch installation sequence stated below:
