As mentioned above, there is no real solution to it other then you Stop trying to move the apps. The Apps that you are trying to move to SD card is not Developed to run on External memory. It is Designed and developed to Run on internal memory only.

Tip: Here is a small tip for the readers, Don’t Move apps to SD Card unless its necessary. Because moving the app to sd card will result in Slowing down of the app. The App will work slowly and will take time to respond.

Thank you. That explains a lot. This is also probably the main reason my phone keeps trashing my sd card and needing to reboot etc. Microsoft needs to address this issue properly. It’s a major issue.

Your explanation does not explain the error. I have a HP Inspirion I7 processor 16 gig Memory, 250 Gig C drive, 500 gig D drive. I keep getting the same error for any App, and none of them are system apps.

I had LINE app on my SD card, then transferred it to phone internal memory but it will not allow me to move it back to sd card. so frustrating as it’s not a phone memory only app!

Same here. looks like the only way out here is to reset the whole phone and re install ‘windowscrap 10’ agin ( for the third time in six months!)
Also my photos that I take on this ‘New’ awful camera app they’ve introduced are showing as taken at the time of shooting, but when I go to my photo album the whole of this months photos are represented by a black void of nothing (with the tiny cloud symbol at the centre) Shyteszer! I’m getting so hacked off with these hiccups. Time to get a second hand android. or I phone.

Hello your solution is false.
I have the same issue but that only appears since a hard reset and only with the apps installed before the hard reset and not with others programs.

Давайте попробуем сначала решить проблему с приложениями. Для этого следуйте пошаговой инструкции ниже. Вам нужно будет проверять, если проблема не исчезла после каждого шага из инструкции. Самый последний вариант, это переустановка системы, так как Вы уже делали сброс настроек. Вот только вопрос состоит, а восстанавливали ли Вы резервную копию после сброса? Если да, то Вам нужно сделать еще раз сброс настроек, но без восстановления данных из резервной копии. Попробуйте, пожалуйста, воспользоваться советами ниже:

1. Убедитесь, что все обновления для телефона установлены:

Откройте Параметры > Обновление и безопасность > Обновление телефона > нажмите Проверить наличие обновлений.

2. Убедитесь, что все обновления для приложений установлены:

Откройте Магазин > Меню > Загрузки и обновления.

3. Перезапустите телефон. С подробной информацией вы можете ознакомиться на этой странице .

4. Проверьте настройки вашей учётной записи Майкрософт:

Перейдите на страницу https://account.microsoft.com и войдите с помощью той учётной записи, которая настроена на телефоне. В верхней части страницы выберите Сведения > Изменение личных сведений > введите правильную дату рождения и сохраните изменения.

5. Используйте альтернативные способы подключения к Интернету.

6. Убедитесь, что параметры даты и времени настроены правильно.

7. Проверьте, повторится ли проблема при использовании другой SIM карты.

8. Проверьте, повторится ли проблема после установки приложения на внутреннюю память телефона. Удалите приложение, извлеките SD-карту из телефона, а затем установите приложение из Магазина.

Если проблема сохранилась, то выполните сброс настроек телефона ещё раз, но не восстанавливайте резервную копию данных, а также проверьте, повторится ли проблема при использовании другой учётной записи Майкрософт.

Windows 10 getting Error 0x80073d0b when moving Halo 5: Forge

I’m having the same issue here too.

Having updating to Windows 10 Pro v1607 about six or seven weeks ago, I’ve only just fixed the annoying 0x80070005 error I had while trying to update or install Windows Store apps and games on my H: drive and/or transfer them from C: to on my H: drive (though I could move them from H: to C: no problems, which allowed me to update them, just not back once moved and updated), In fact, attempting to install or update any apps that weren’t on the C: drive would fail with this error.

Turned out to be a silly bug to do with file compression which has been enabled on all my drives for years and which had been working fine needless to say with the launch version and v1511 of Windows 10 Pro. Microsoft really need to give their QA department a kick up the backside IMO as I wasted days of my time trying to fix that issue until someone suggested it might be the file compression setting. And it was.

Anyway, when I installed Halo 5: Forge I did not realise that the Storage location was set to C: (which I had to do because of the issue explained above) so it got installed on my boot SSD. I thought, right, now the 0x80070005 is fixed that I can just move the game to my H: drive. Except, nope, I can’t because now I get a new error: 0x80073d0b and the usual unhelpful suggestion to «try again later» (which with Microsoft products NEVER works in my experience anyway!).

Don’t take it the wrong way but I’m glad that I am not the only one experienced this issue.

I suspect that this is yet another Windows 10 bug and one which will likely take Microsoft weeks if not months to fix. In the meantime, it looks like the only option would to uninstall the game then reinstall it with the Storage location set to the drive you want it to be located on since I do not recall Store asking me where I wanted it when I downloaded it. Considering this «game» is 35 GB that is something of a glaring oversight, wouldn’t you say, if you’re running a small SSD as a boot drive?

All you have to do, Make storage applications on the phone card.not in SD card
And it will solve the problem
