Caution

Phenomenon:
When overwriting the old version, the version number of the driver displayed in [Options & supplies] of [Print & Fax] may not be updated.
Solution:
In the [Print & Fax] window, click the «+» button to register the queue of the applicable driver again after clicking the «-» button to delete the queue of the applicable driver.

2.[OS v10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15, 11]
(Phenomenon)
The numbers in Start time / End time in Quiet Mode of Canon IJ Printer Utilities may not be changed when users specify them on the keyboard.
(Preventive action)
Specify the time using the arrow buttons.

3.[OS v10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15, 11]
When ColorSync is selected in Color Matching, no operation can be performed in Color Options. All the items other than Sample Type are grayed out.

4.[OS v10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15, 11]
When printing from some applications, the check box for [Do not show again] in a message box is only available in the application currently used.
In addition, once you enable [Do not show again], you will not see the message box(the message box will not be displayed again.).

5.[OS v10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15, 11]
Phenomenon
Immediately after the OS installation, when launching the driver’s help from TextEdit or Preview without printing, the message «The selected topic is currently unavailable. » is displayed. Therefore, the driver’s help is not displayed.
Solution:
Try either of the following method:
— Launch the driver’s help after printing.
— Launch the help from the application software other than TextEdit and Preview, then open the driver’s help.

6.Upgrade the driver to ver.16.40.1.0 or later when using «My Image Garden» or «Print Studio» in macOS 10.15.

Setup instruction

Procedures for the download and installation
1. Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
2. Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
3. Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
4. Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

Extract the contents of the ZIP archive to reach the installer program named MOTU Audio Installer. The archive also contains additional documentation to supplement the audio interface User Guide.

MOTU Universal Audio Install- OSX 10.3

Use this install if you are using one of the supported interfaces below, and are running OSX 10.3.x (10.3.9 is recommended).

Installer contains a driver update for the MOTU 828, 896, 828mk2, 828mk2 USB, 896HD, Traveler, UltraLite, and 8pre. Cuemix console supports external control surfaces, talkback & listenback capabilities, and I/O port names. Refer to .pdf below.

Unzip and double-click installer, enter OSX Administrator password, choose Firewire USB install option, follow on-screen instructions and restart.

MOTU PCI-424 Install for Mac OS X 10.3.9

Use this version if you are using Panther 10.3.9. Installer contains drivers for PCI-424 audio systems under Mac OSX. It also adds support for MOTU PCI-424 PCIe cards. Cuemix now has control surface support, talkback and listenback capabilities, and I/O port naming.

Power off MOTU PCI Audio hardware. Unzip and double-click installer, enter OSX Administrator password, choose PCI install option, follow on-screen instructions, and restart. Power up MOTU PCI Audio hardware.

MOTU Firewire and USB Audio Drivers for x64

64-bit support for MOTU 828, 896, 828mk2, 896HD, Traveler, UltraLite and 8pre. New Cuemix has control surface support, and talkback & listenback capabilities. Refer to update notes .pdf (below) for more info.

Unzip to expand. Run the installer.

MOTU Firewire Drivers and Consoles OSX

This install provides compatibility updates for Tiger OSX 10.4, and is compatible with OSX versions back to Jaguar 10.2.x. Version also contains maintenance firmware updates for the Traveler. Installer contains a version 1.2.5 driver update for the MOTU 828, 896, 828mk2, 896HD and Traveler. New Cuemix console supports external control surfaces, talkback & listenback capabilities, and I/O port names under Panther. See .pdf below.

Unzip and double-click installer, enter OSX Administrator password, and follow on-screen instructions. Traveler users can also install the Traveler Hardware Update version 1.05 via Custom Install.

MOTU PCI-324/424 Install for Mac OS X 10.3.8 or earlier

Contains OSX drivers and consoles for MOTU PCI-324 and PCI-424 audio interfaces. PCI-424 users who have not upgraded to OSX v.10.3.7 or later should use this install.

Install also adds support for MOTU PCI-424 PCIe cards. Cuemix now has control surface support, talkback and listenback capabilities, and I/O port naming. Refer to .pdf (link below) for update info.

Power off MOTU PCI Audio hardware. Unzip and double-click installer, enter OSX Administrator password, and follow on-screen instructions. Power up MOTU PCI Audio hardware.

MOTU Firewire Audio Install for Windows

Installer supports MOTU 828, 896, 828mk2, 896HD, and Traveler. New Cuemix has control surface support, and talkback & listenback capabilities. Refer to update notes .pdf (below) for more info.

Traveler users who do not have the version 1.07 ROM should download the ROM updater (available as a separate download). The ROM version appears on the front LCD of the Traveler when powering up.

Unzip to expand. Run the SETUP to install.

PCI-424 Audio Drivers for Windows

Installs Drivers and Consoles for MOTU PCI-424 hardware, which includes the 2408mk3, 24io and HD192. Includes WDM, ASIO and GSIF Drivers. New Cuemix supports has control surface support and talkback & listenback capabilities. Refer to .pdf update notes below.

Double-click SETUP.EXE in Installer Folder and follow on screen instructions. Restart.

PCI-324 Install for WDM, ASIO, GSIF

WDM drivers for PCI-324 audio hardware. Installer supports Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 and XP. Contains ASIO and GSIF drivers.

Version update contains improved 96K support and better port naming in Cakewalk’s SONAR.

Refer to Read Me file for important info. Before installing, use the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel to de-install previous PCI-324 drivers. Power down your MOTU hardware.

Use WinZip to expand. Run SETUP.EXE. After install completes, power up your MOTU audio interface.

PCI-424/324 Audio Drivers and Consoles

Contains audio drivers and application consoles for MOTU PCI-424/324 audio hardware, which includes the 2408 mk3, 24 I/O and HD192.

Double-click installer and follow on-screen instructions.

Firewire Audio Drivers/Consoles OS9

This install contains MAS and Firewire Drivers/Consoles for the 828, 896, 828mk2 and 896HD for OS9.

Unstuff with Expander version 7.03 or higher. Double-click installer and choose the installer option for your MOTU Firewire audio hardware.

PCI-324 Installer for Windows 98
