lenovo g 580 20157 hotkeys problem
i have g580 20157 notebook, everything works great until i upgrade windows 7 Bit to win7 Bit, my hotkeys is working but there is no notification appears i tried everything i updated energy management and wireless driver and still no hope. i am looking for help

Please try uninstalling the current Power/Energy Management,under Control Panel / Uninstall a program
And try running this one on your System.

Sir, I bought lenovo laptop g580 my model no is
WB0208030S.. i bought one month before. now the hot keys for brightness, volume , wireless are not working. i can’t operate my hotkeys which is now harder to activate wifi for me . when i press Fn+f5 key the wireless option which displayed before is not now showing it is same for brightness(Fn+down/up) and volume (Fn+right).
Pls help me in this issue any professional from LENOVO soon . waiting for your reply

The program responsible for the function key options is called utility.exe and it is located in c:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\Energy Management\utility.exe. Just make sure the startup entry is enabled in msconfig (hold down Windows key and then press R and System Configuration window will show up, from start up tab make sure that utility.exe is running) or add the program start up list (copy a short cut to utility.exe in Startup folder from Start->All Programs)

I have the same issue it works under windows 8 but when I reloaded the OS with Win 7 all other Fn combinations works except the airplane mode and brightness.
I have reinstalled the power management software as well still no go.

I’m also seeing this same issue after installing Windows 7 on a G580. My main issue is with the touchpad sensitivity and with the Synaptics touchpad there are no settings to adjust the sensitivity. We purchased 2 G580’s about 2 weeks apart and one has the Elan touchpad which has multiple settings to adjust the sensitivity.
